Didn't seem to effect him. He shut them out tonight too.

This kid has to be one of the biggest mystery ever...along with Ty Conklin. One day he looks like Raycroft, the other day like Brodeur...I guess it's experience that kicks in....

So another 10 pounds today? Means 20 pounds in 2 days. Man, I need to be a goalie in the NHL.....

Overall on the season though, he has been incredible.

22-10-2
2.32 GAA, .925 SV%, 6 shutouts

Seriously, if he played the whole season as the starter.. he could be a serious contender for the Vezina.

I remember hearing how Pierre-Marc Bouchard lost as much as 7 pounds during games in his first 2 years in the NHL... extreme.

Losing all the weight is not dramatic as long as you re-hydrate after the game and replace your electrolytes that have been lost. A drink like Gatorade can do that and i'm certain his trainers make sure he drinks a lot of water after and during the game.

Someone should glue a beer helmet to his mask. That would solve everything. But then he'd need to install a colostomy bag to his jockstrap too. Input and output.

This guy must really stink!

And Marty Brodeur must wish he had that problem.
