Just goes to show how little hockey knowledge those who compared him to Balej have.

Pathetic.

Balej was pretty talented.... he has had a hell of a time with injuries though....

Not comparing them.... Just saying.

Yup, but those same people said Grabs would never make it in the NHL and that he'd be a career AHLer... that's what they mostly meant with the comparison. IMO, Grabs is much more talented and it was just a matter of time until he broke out.

I want to see him fight the big 'Enforcer' type guys in the other teams, knock out a couple of those goons and see them bleed!

oh, wait...

When you look into the stats, his production rate is extremely high. Up there with the Season Production Rates of Kovalev & Plekanec *18 min/pt* ..

He's got Christopher Higgins and Michael Ryder suited up beside him, so his defensive game is covered.. but both Ryder & Higgins can create offense.

His biggest problem, which will likely be addressed in the future, is face-offs. Maybe better suited as a winger?

Anyway, could Mikhail Grabovski be a Top-30 centre (or Top-60 winger) the NHL? Or is he just going to be a 2nd line centre/winger?
IMO, there are two factor that goes with size
1.Speed, well that he has.
2.Strenght, well this he has not.
Center or winger? I would have to say Center but his face off needs big time work. Crosby for exemple was terrible in his first season in the circle. Carbs will teach him like he did to Lapierre.

If they piss him off enough, he might just drop the gloves with them. He wouldn't fight often, but I will not be surprised if he fights any NHLers other than Chara, a goalie or his teammates.
