Price is now in that selected club . Only 4 goalers got 20 or more victories at the age of 20 years old , in all the NHL history ....

Congrats !

Wow, I'm surprised. He wasn't even the no.1 for half the year.

Starting? Jeez. That move has looked smart since Theodore collapsed in 05-06.

Starting? He won gold at the World Juniors and took his team to the Calder championship in the same year last year.

But then again, World Junior gold means absolutely nothing...

Wow guys, nice to see the Price bandwagon so quick to try and run me over.

He's won 20 ****ing games, its starting to look like a good pick.. Too early for me to say "wow we really stole this one".

What about Crosby after the 2005 draft? He was an unproven prospect?

Sometimes, you know that a player will have an impact before he makes the jump to the NHL...

Its funny cause Cristobal Huet the poster has been MIA since the Huet trade. I guess he really was just a Huet fan and not a habs fan.

Crosby was also runner-up to the Calder first year in, and won the Art Ross and Hart trophy in the following season. He has obviously proven himself.

Did i say Price didn't have potential? Absolutely not, but correct me if i'm wrong Price was not projected to go that high in the draft (most goalies never do) so in retrospect it was a riskier then normal type move. Its beginning to look like he will be the real deal, he wasn't looking this good (on a consistent enough basis) earlier on in the year.

If he can come in next season and continue this success he is having, then I will be sold on him.

Edit: And no i am not Cristobal the poster.. lol! I'm not a huge fan of his "timely" goals.

He pops in from time to time to support the team. He's actually a pretty good guy when nobody is insulting Huet....

That wasn't my point at all. I was talking about the fact that we already knew after the draft and before he made the jump to the NHL that Crosby was going to be an impact player.

Some people took some time before realizing how good Price was but we knew before his first game in the NHL that he was going to be something special. We didn't need 20 wins for that.

Thank you for being coherant and not being an ass, the road others have chose to take.

I've realised how good Price is, I always knew he was going to be a good goalie, from the first time i was able to watch him in the WJC. But its so hard to judge from that alone, being that alot of players have outstanding junior careers and wind up having mediocore professional careers. I just don't like to jump the guns early like some people and say Price is our savior. Goalies are too hard to write a book on, so early.

So 3 Hall of Famers, possibly 4 (Barrasso has not yet been inducted). Good class to be in.

I understand your point.

what the hell are they talking about. Roy started his career against WINNIPEG. not Pittsburgh.
