IMO...Judging by last nights performance, I can't see him missing a full 6 weeks, sure teh skate acts as a splint, but to play the rest of the game and look as good as he did I would be shocked if he can't tough it out and play before 4-6 weeks.

God damn, our best player in the playoff OUT? I hope it's an April fools. If not, would you try Sergei centering the 2nd line or give the chance to Grabs? Anyways, I always thought we should try to get Fedorov at the trade deadline, he could fill in any position for out team (Centre, Wing, Defense)

we're looking a lot like the Sabres of 2 years ago with all their regulars droping like flies at the start of the playoffs.

might be a hairline fracture. A broken foot is a broken foot. No way you can finish a game with that.

Ummm i was pretty calm their man lol don't know what you telling me to calm down for.

As all you guys are saying the timetable doesn't make sense especially considering he played the rest of the game yesterday. When i broke my foot i couldn't take one step with it and they gave me the same timetable. Different circumstances cause it's Koivu.... but still want RDS to confirm/not confirm.

Holy crap!!!
Was Koivu Hitler in his previous lifetime???
Everytime things are going well for him, something must come along anf ******* it all up.

I hope finishing well in the standings gives the habs easy enough matchups (not that there will be easy matchups) that they can get through until Koivu's back.

I shoveled for 6 hours once with a broken hand without any painkiller so yeah i think it that it's definitively possible , especially with an injection + a skate stabilizing the foot.

I do hope that it's not true though

So why would the team 990 have the scoop instead of RDS or CKAC?

They don't have a reporter following the team. Heck, someone wrote the guy was REPORTING from the Bell Center when the team is in Toronto?

It has all the makings of a hoax.

Well this is the time for Higgins to show us why has an "A" and step up his game. It also hinges on Grabovsky picking up some offensive slack.

I hope Kovy gets the "C" like the one Rangers game. It would probably pump him up.

I will waite for martin mcguire.
Many ppl don't like CKAC but one of the few that I view as reliable on that channel is Dube and mcguire. Mcguire was on at 3 PM and did not mention that, but there is still time before the game to get a confirmation or denial.
