I've witnessed 18 Stanley Cup wins by the Habs. The first one was in 1953 against the Bruins. I was 11 years old at the time and I watched every game on TV. My father bought the family's first TV set in March 1953 expressly to watch the playoffs.
Here is the winning goal of that first Cup. Right after that goal the Rocket jumped on Elmer Lach to celebrate and broke his nose.

I didn't get a chance to win a cup... No coach would ever allow me to play, not even in practice..

Demerse
Tremblay
Vigneault
Terrien
Juliens
Gainey
Carbonneau

Ok seriously, I started watching hockey seriously in 89 so I only saw the Habs win the cup in 93. It may not have been the best run to the cup, but boy was it exciting! So many overtime wins! I was so tense throughout the series! But it was well worth it

5. I remember 77. I do remember the 76 one but it's a bit vague. The others I have fond memories of.

McPhee must be the only poster here who saw Aurèle Joliat play.

Well in 86 I probably watched a couple games with my dad as he was trying to get me to sleep... but at 2, can't say I remember, so my answr would be 1 cup in 93. I remember my neighbour was there when they won it all and I was soooooooooo jealous!

I thought the question was alive and living in Montreal for how many, so I said 2 but should really be 1 since I was 1 year old for the first one.

Cups won but you were not a fan yet do not count. Example, if you started following hockey at the age of 10 and habs won a cup when you were 8, then it doesn't count... Just want to know how many cups did you really win as a habs fan?

I won one in 93, I was 8 years old!

Next one is coming soon hopefully!

I forgot to include 0 cup in my poll
given i was 3 in 86' cant hardly say i recall it, I remember 93' quite well wearing my habs t-shirt and ballcap proudly to school the next day, i remember the O Canada in the morning making me feel so proud for some reason.

Five for me. I became a Habs fan at age seven during the 1976-77 season and therefore witnessed three of the four from the late-70's dynasty. I remember thinking I'd never see them lose a playoff series and then crying my eyes out when Minnesota eliminated them in 1980.
