Hey guys. I was just wondering if you could help me out a little bit. I remember around the trade deadline, there was some talk that the Penguins were looking at Tollefsen. I was just wondering what style of game he played, how you see him improving in the future, what you think it would take to get him in a trade, and if he is even available. Are you generally happy with his production? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Obvisouly, I mean this off-season when talking about availability, etc.

He's a hard-nosed physical defenseman. I remember last year Hitch saying that he might as well have been a traffic cop because he let people by him so much. But then Hitch said that his game turned around dramatically after he worked on him.
Anyway, I don't see much offensive potential. He's got a hard shot, but it rarely gets seen. He'll chip in a few points here and there.
He's pretty good on the defensive side. He's not a shutdown guy but he keeps close to his man, shoving him and whatnot. He's very physical and delivers good hits. He has a gung-ho style of play that results in injuries, but he rarely misses because of them. He's tough as nails. He's played most of this season with like a cracked vertebrae or ruptured disk or something.
As far as what I would want, I'm not too familiar with the Pens roster or their prospects, although I do like Letang. Right handed, offensive minded, and would do well with Russell since they used to be teammates for Team Canada.

Letang played for Val d'Or in the Q, they were teammates for Team Canada at the WJs though.

Good analysis. Just for clarification, about how often does he get caught out of position because he likes throwing the body around, or does he clear the crease at all? Does he play on the PK or have any shot blocking skills.
Oh yea, you're more likely to get Goligoski or Whitney for him than Letang. If it's Whitney you'll have to throw in a little more. Purely speculation of course.

I'll add the obligatory second rounder and some cap space.
