I don't care who has to score tonight. I just want to see a win and two points.
As for the actual broadcast... I'm thinking on putting the television on mute. I always get that surprise factor because I can never find out who's got the booth for the night in advance. Depending on who's in the booth for the game, ol' mute button and I might be very close friends.
Without Orr again, look for the same lineup tonight as yesterday in Pittsburgh, and likely the same line combinations. That means no Sean Avery back with Jaromir Jagr and Brandon Dubinsky, a combination that seemed to have success before Scott Gomezs injury.
All of our lines have had success when theyre first put together, Renney said when asked about it. The ability to sustain that has been the trick.
Ugggggghhhhhhhhhhh...why isn't Renney going back to the Avery/Dubi/Jagr line? this line failed to register at least one point in every game but two...as good a coach as Renney is, I just don't understand what the hell he's doing sometimes.
Anyway I'll be at the game and despite the lines, I think we've got a good chance here..the team has played well at home for the last couple of months and this is a must-win game. Have to stay out of the box although when playing the Penguins on national television, that isn't always in your control...but just don't do anything dumb and let's get the win. I don't even want to think about going into the Fishsticks home-and-home on a 2-game pointless streak.
