We always seem to play them right after they had an important loss.

I don't give too much of a **** if we win. Just no more you-know-whats.

We need to make a statement and win this one. Even with our current roster, we should be able to beat the Sens.

I'm hopeful that Gorges has a bit of a statement game. You know two or three noticeably big hits and/or big defensive plays, four shots on goal, losing his helmet during scrums, facewashing Spezza, etc. Oh yeah and score a goal while you're at it, gorgeous.

I don't really care what happens, (the dream of Ottawa missing the playoffs is nice but I just won't bother getting my hopes up) just clinch the division boys.

I think an overtime loss here would be best.

Ottawa gets two points (keeping them above the 7th/8th spot, and an early matchup with Montreal).
Montreal clinches the division.

Although I guess I'll be happy with anything but a regulation loss.

So true, the more days pass, the more and more it's looking like we're not gonna get Boston and Philadelphia in the first round.

You picked a great time to miss watching games.

The habs pulled one out in buffalo but it was not a good game.

The toronto game was maybe the most uninspring game of the season, and a complete waste of time... and a saturday to boot

I think it's in your best interest to let us win this game. Make sure we're in the playoffs and then there's a good chance of a first round matchup, and then you're automatically in the second round with a few days of rest.

Just, c'mon. Let us get a couple home playoff dates. It sounds like Melnyk might need the money.

Let's clinch the divison in style and beat the living hell out of the Senators.

I wouldn't mind it at all if we faced them in the 1st round. They've been horribly inconsistent for a long time now, and I don't believe they can win four games out of seven, no matter what team they face.

I don't see us catching Pitts after they got a point last night.

That said, I would love to pick up an OTL tonight. 1 point clinches the division, and 2 points to the Senators to keep them out of the 7 and 8 spots in the conference.

Was just looking at the standings and I feel pretty much the same way. Ottawa would be last on my list of teams to play in the first round and would be a terrible matchup for us. I have no problem playing them in the second round or beyond, but not in the first...

What I would really like to see is Washington finish 3rd and Ottawa finish 6th...that would be fun.

Go for the win in regulation, just so I can see Spezza being beeped out in an interview again. 4 - 3 Habs win in regulation.

I would not but any money on that. The sens have one of the best team in the east having a bad few months.Do you want to be the team that wakes them up i think not. That is not taking any thing away from montreal but to say the sens are a awful team well thats not 100% true. The east is in alot of trouble if the sens can regain there form of the fall and last year.
