I can't deal with a girl doing analysis. Call me sexist if you want but it's just not natural to me. Doesn't help that she sucks.

I don't mind her commentating. Seems to have a good knowledge of the game. Makes the odd mistake naming players, but that is no big deal.

She has very little to offer, besides fashion advice.

She looks like a man. Makeup makes her look decent only.

I used to have a major crush on her when I was like 7... but I don't care who she comments, I'll be watching on RDS.

I'd say on CBC only Craig Simpson is better than her, others are just on par with her. I don't understand why she's disliked by some.

I'd do her? I guess?

If it meant keeping her out of the commentator seat!

I have no problem with a gold medal winning athlete giving me her perspective on the sport she excelled in. Maybe I'm just being newfangled, but it doesn't make me feel "unnatural" at all.

I find her commentary on the bland side, but that seems to be par for the course with CBC these days. I've never been driven up the wall by the backwards logic of anything she's said (see Stock, Strachan or Fournier).

She's horrible. And it's not even a sexist thing. My wife even mentioned how terrible she is. She has this steady monotone boring voice and every she says sounds awkward like she's terribly uncomfortable.

Yeah in all seriousness I feel the exact same way about her commentating. Its very monotone and boring. I'd even rather Bob Cole, and he my friends is not even the shadow of his former self.

Oh boy... welcome to the neanderthal world

Except the mistakes she makes with the players names (which all of the other teams commentators make)... she's pretty good... I still recall that she was the first to notice how great the AK46 goal was against Philly... she saw it right away and gave him huge praise because she knew how hard it was... while others were still wondering how Niittymaki didn't make that simple save...

Cassie Campbell, Bob Cole, Harry Neale, Greg Millen, Elliott Friedman...does it really matter who we get? Hopefully Jim Hugheson does our games, not Bob Cole...other than that who cares?

At least I'm getting to watch my Habs in English and not on RDS, although I find RDS always has a brighter game than CBC (don't know if it is camera or lighting).
