Having been to games there, I should know this, but does Boston put up banners for their Moral titles? They've won the Moral Conference the last two years, haven't they?

I agree that if we're in a position of needing a winger to play centre, it should be Higgins. As a general rule, I think he's better on the wing, but he was a centre through university IIRC- I like the idea of throwing him into that position better than Sergei.

I definitely agree with that, but, until he dons the Habs jersey I will hate him like I do every other non Hab.

I would like the team to find someone to take care of the Chris Neils of the world tho. I am pleased that the team doesn't back down, but, I'd rather see an enforcer going off for 5 minutes with him than Higgins or SKost going for 2 minutes in a game like that.
Neil would not fight an enforcer, he's out of the Ken Linseman mold...more a **** disturber than tough.

I think if you look at his fight card, you will see that he has & will fight just about anyone in the league. He is not in the top 10 heavyweights, but, he is in the next grouping & he is pretty much fearless.

Do they stop playing the way they need to play if someone hits them? 80 games into the season, and some people are still saying the same damn thing. Just because you can hit montreal, it doesn't make them soft. If they packed up and called it a night, then yes.

But anyone who follows the team knows that this is not the case. The habs are a tenacious bunch and they aren't intimidated. I think a guy like Sergei Kostitsyn basically personifies the entire team. The forwards are on the small side, but they dont care how big you are, they'll hit, and take hits and they wont run away from anyone.

Sorry, but I had to get this off my chest after reading the sens GDT.
It's funny, a lot of NHL "experts" buy into the big "tough" and small "soft" labels which is complete BS. Some of the toughest players in the league are under 6', just on the Habs, Koivu S.Kost Bouillon Begin Gorges are all among the toughest players on the team and none are over 6' and 200lbs. They keep paying the price and when they get knocked over 10 times they keep getting up and coming back at you.

Agreed. Youtube him and you'll see the list is quite impressive. He's pretty much fought them all.

As much as I hate Neil because of the team he plays for I would welcome him in Montreal any day. Perfect third forth liner. Can play is a **** disturber and will drop em with anyone......For now I hate his guts!

Look at the Frozen moment this morning, it's a nice one!

And I didn't want to start a thread on this...
Does anybody know if CBC will show all of our games?
Because I may work on some nights and I want to buy a portable tv, the ones with a 2.2" screen, some sites call them handheld tv and I have no idea where to find that, Futureshop and Bestbuy don't sell those and I hate to buy with Internet. Do you know guys where I could find one?

I agree, he doesn't really care about the opponent - he can fight anybody even someone 2 times bigger than him (....and smaller).

Congratulations to you, Montreal, my least hated division rival.

In other news, the Sabres just *have* to prolong the agony even more......

Last night...I thought the whole team played well, gotta give credit to guys like Begin and Dandy for banging and crashing...Dandy just may move Tom Kosto out of the lineup...great job by the whole team...man the Sens are in some deep doo-doo...

Gorges has really impressed me this season. As the season went on, you can see him really starting to take charge out there. He's not afraid to go into the corners against anyone, he hits, he isnt scared to mix it up abit after a whistle, but most of all....he ALWAYS comes to the rescue of his teamates when needed. If he is on the ice, and if another player takes a run at or a cheap shot towards one of our guys...he is usually one of the first guys in there...this kid really has a lot of heart

Will the "official" final nail in the coffin happen on Thursday night in Montreal?

What he says on 110% is completely different from what he says on the team 990.. Just my opinion..

With the Leafs out, there's no possible way all our games won't be shown Ontario->east.

They'll have the Senators play on alternate nights, I guarantee it.

Didn't read the whole thread and it was probably done already, but we should acknowledge Huet for his work this year and he obviously had a lot to say in this championship!

Thanks Cristo and good luck!
