Thank You OILERS!

Thanks for all the excitement of the past couple months, and most importantly thank you for reminding me why I love this team!

The future is indeed bright for this team!

Thank you indeed, what an exciting finish, beats the crap out of the way last season ended.

not me.. the injured players need the summer to get better...

and then we'll be back.

though we can still have a meaningful game and kick van out of the playoffs.

Amen.

This team had every possible excuse to fade away as bad or even worse down the stretch. Instead, they played like lions.

Secondary players like Pouliot have shown they can be NHLers, and Brodziak and Glencross show they can be threats from the 4th line to score 20.

And did you see the way Grebeshov evolved over the year.

And we haven't even talked about the three big rookies.

I love Oiler hockey

Quite a run.

Too bad it couldn't continue for one game, but what the hell, let's take Vancouver golfing with us.

What a run...most fun I've had watching hockey in a long time. New owner, new goalie, new attitude, new energy...not a bad ending to what looked like it was going to be another tough year.

Absolutely, tonight's game was a great game, it's too bad that the Flames once again fluked one out against us. The Oilers still played fantastic.

My fast-forward summer also involves super fast healing.

Proud as hell of this team.

I don't know how anyone can consider this season a disappointment. The team showed absolutely no quit, there are 8 good young players to be excited about (Nilsson, Gagner, Cogliano, Gilbert, Grebeshkov, Pitkanen, Glencross, Brodziak). Even Smid and Greene took steps forward.

The team will learn from their mistakes.

We'll be back in the playoffs next year.

I will truly thank the Oilers if they lay down and die on Thursday against my Canucks... by the looks of things against the Avs we will need you to if we want to make the playoffs.

Solid effort Oil.

I'm so proud of this team. This hurts so much though, I feel like I've been punched in the gut.

I think he'll be gone, but bring back a big piece of the puzzle in the process. No reason for thinking that, but it keeps coming to mind.

That along with keeping Burke out of the top 10 would make this season a great success IMO!!!

Good try but I knew the odds were horrendous. It is a miracle they even came this close so it was a successful season. Go Preds.
