ah-so.... i must learn of this....

glen x is an amazing 4th liner... perfect for this team.
row-bert is a special player
gagner is gonna be money (and he already is more than pocket change)
cogs has some sick skills
brodziak has some definite upside....
stortini is a good 4th liner

grebs.... wow.. evolved before our eyes
gilbert is good, but needs some time to hit his peak
smid.. what a mean streak he's developing

future is indeed bright...

now let's have anahiem go out in the first round and get a good pick!

For the $ that he probably wants??? I'm probably with you on that one. Deal him and sign a veteran d-man that can play the physical game. Greene can also go, we need to have a balance of skill and toughness on our blueline. If Pitkanen takes a 1-2 year deal for $3-3.5 million per season, sign him, any more, deal him.

I'd like to thank the boys for their effort through thick and thin, the kids develop by leaps and bounds, emergence of an extremely productive 4th line and everybody stepping up to the plate with all the injuries.

I'm happy with what they've accomplished this season and looking forward to many more great ones! Cheers boys! Playoff would have been nice but I think they've proved many doubters already

For the first time since the 80's, there are legitimate grounds for the ''Wait under Next year'' mantra.

We're closer on this side of quick improvement (Montreal 2007-2008)

I honestly wish Pitkanen could get his head screwed on right... cuz he could be amazing with his skillset.. but as is, I'd rather deal him and pay a vet $4 mil... who knows rfa season is coming up soon... maybe we get four 1sts!

I just wish I could press sim to next season.

This team has done a lot with the hands they were dealt. The future is as bright as I can remember in my years as an Oilers fan.

Hell of a fight. I'm proud to be a fan today.

What a great year for what it's worth. These guys showed some true passion towards a game that we all love. They could have keeled over and given up along time ago but showed us something that will make us an exciting team to watch for years to come!!!

Now, lets show Luongo and whoever else plays for Vancouver the way to the links! FORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, congrats Oil.

So now it's go Anybody-That's-Playing-Calgary!

Because cheering AGAINST the Flames is almost as divine as cheering FOR the Oilers.

I know it is a tough night for you guys, but your team gave it one Hell of a shot. If you guys would have played like this a few months back you guys would probably be in. You guys might challenge for the division next year if things come together.

I cannot believe how this team came together - I'm sure they are all sorely disappointed that they came so close. However, I had this team written off as a bottom five team two months ago. I am impressed. Thanks Oilers for an entertaining run - so opposite from last year's ending!

I am very proud to be an Oiler fan, especially after seeing them battle tonight.

And luckily enough we'll have fewer games against NW opponents

Well "next year"

Fantastic finish to the season. Even without the playoffs I could not be much happier with them.
