Proud to be an Oiler fan!

I am proud to be an Oiler's fan. Many fans, even myself had written them off in mid February. To battle hard right to the end and make exciting is awesome.

I think we have a lot of optimism for next year, with the play of the young kids. I don’t the Oiler’s are far off from being a playoff team. Roloson deserves some credit he came in and played well during a tough situation. He made the saves when he needed to and gave us a chance to win. I do remember that game in San Jose he made something like 47 saves.

Long Live the Oil.

You gotta love the oil. This is probablly one of the only fan clubs where, in the middle of a work day, this many people are online AFTER we've officially been eliminated...good stuff

As unfortunate this team has been for the majority of the last 10 years, this team is looking like they will be a treat to watch for a long long time to come. Win or lose, we at least should have an enjoyable game to watch.

Owen Nolan kicked a few ***** last night and so did kipper..other than that we outplayed your team big time especially in the first and third periods. Look out next season that's all I have to say about it..

Just think when Horc is back to center Hemsky and Penner, the kid line as our second line (or vice versa) Ethan back and a great checking third line, the great 4th line of Brodziak, Storts and Glencross, add Souray's canon from the point, a full year of Garon as our #1, the addition of whoever we get for Torres, a healthier Stoll...we have a VERY good chance of winning our division next year or at least top 4 in the conference. This team has not looked this good in 15 years..

A good always comes out of a bad. ALWAYS. our injuries made our team better for the immediate future. The injuries were a blessing. I too am very proud of this team, and for the first time in years, when we say "wait until next year" we really mean it.

I'm proud to be an Oiler Fan. Proud of the effort we put in,but still embarrassed by our position in the standings.
