OT - Driving Ranges/Golf Courses open in your area?

Any driving ranges or golf courses in Edmonton (and surrounding area) open yet? If theres one close to you that you know of one that is open can you list it here and address if you can?
I usually use the Prestige Driving range (henday + 87 ave) and they aren't open yet.
Super anxious to get some exercise and work on my game. Thanks in advance for your help.

West of the Walmart in St.Albert on Hwy 633 there is a smaller driving range open.

I might be heading there today.

I thought you just played with orange balls in the winter.

Is that the Sturgeon course? I haven't lived in St Albert for a long time, didn't know there was even a wal-mart there.

The driving range is excercise? I doubt you ment it like that, but I'm just curious.

Well yes, core strength, stability, range of motion, and upper body toning. An average weighted guy/girl can burn between 200-300 calories per hour at the Driving Range. Not to mention stretching and general warmup exercises. So in conclusion, yes, I meant it like that.

Alright. I guess I'll have to go on the John Daly excerise program.

I think maybe some people on this board are a little overly sensitive right now. For certain I did not think that people would read this and equate it with our beloved Oilers missing the playoffs. Snow is melting, spring has sprung so to speak, the Masters is coming up and this traditionally is the time of year where people who love to golf start gearing up for the season. This is not a shot at the Oilers, and if you think so maybe you should calm down and realize I am just as upset as the rest of you, but get over it. It was properly labelled as OT for a reason. And Jsho can be congratulated for being the first on my ignore list with that oh so hilarious John Daly blast. Yeah the guy who has a jenny craig sponsorship patch one on side and a Hooters and Dunkin Donuts patch on the other side. Cue the "Golfers aren't athletes" flames now.
It was a legitimate question, and some of you were kind enough to provide some useful information for me. If this thread is hurting your feelings just ask a mod to delete it.
./end rant

It's funny you complain about people being sensitive, yet put a guy on ignore for laying out a John Daly joke.

Lol. I didnt think he would get that offended. Ive always been one saying that golf is a sport, since the best golfer in the world is prob the best athlete in the world. But gezz...since when have John Daly jokes ever not been funny.
