As for the 2 call-ups, though it might not be the end of the call-ups, as soon as the Dogs are eliminated, expect a few more, my first instinct is that it's pretty evident that it's the end of guys like Locke, Milroy and Ferland.

But I'm really happy for Stewart, always was a big defender of his. If you remember some of my reports at different development camps, I was pretty high on the kid while acknowledging his ceiling which is pretty much what you can see right now. But if he still develops a little, he is for me the perfect future candidate of our 4th line. Physical, could drop it even though he's obviously not at a Brashear/Laraque level, and could chip in offensively from time to time while being solid defensively.

Again, for me he's kinda of a mix between what we have right now. Difference is, it's in 1 player instead of being divided in 3 or 4 players...

You guys are funny. They are just faking the Chipchura injury so he can be rested for the playoffs.

Seriously what's up with this Chipchura nonsense and why won't they be men about it and just answer about Chipchura's status honestly. How hard is it to field this type of question anyway? We just want to know why they won't call up Chipchura.

Zednik had to miss Slovakia's first game during the world cup in 2005 because of food poisoning. He decided to go eat with his wife instead of going with his team... See what happens?

Very surprised to here this! I thought the Dogs would have a better team next year with White, Maxwell, JT, Trotter, and a plethora of other talent coming up. The Dogs will be more stable from here on in now that the Habs have finally restocked their shelves after years of half talent.

Lecavallier for D'agostini and Stewart is a huge overpayment by Gainey.

So...going into the playoffs, does the roster have to be a specific number as in the regular season? Or can you carry as many guys as you want?

That makes sense, and I see where you are coming from.... I however thing we are getting real low on players now with ryder hurt and grabovsky and kovalev having the flu.... It might end up a game time decision for those guys and they still might not get to play.... but even if they don't the insurance of having them in montreal just in case is worth it.

Talented, yes, at what level though? Untested at the AHL level.

Look at the last junior stats for players such as Locke, Milroy, Francis Lemieux and even Ferland. The CHL scoring touch never really lived up to the same billing at the AHL level.

Chip tried to tell SKost that he was lucky not to have fought Chris Neil. Now Kyle is out 6-8.

I see this as one kid's first steps in the league, and the other one's only shot due to circumstances. Stewart better make the most out of this one.
