Glad to see we won't be going with a full roster for the next game at least. Best to rest the big guns.
That having been said, it really shows what the organization thinks of Chipchura that he wasn't called up. It's not like he's injured.
That makes sense, and I see where you are coming from.... I however thing we are getting real low on players now with ryder hurt and grabovsky and kovalev having the flu.... It might end up a game time decision for those guys and they still might not get to play.... but even if they don't the insurance of having them in montreal just in case is worth it.
Yeah, right.... the flu. The "don't put Kovalev in right now just days before the playoffs flu".
These guys are not game time decisions, they are most likely being rested.
I might have missed it, but I can't recall anyone in this thread making him out to be some sort of supreme heavyweight. Perhaps you can expand on your opinion a bit as to why you think he can't fight? He is a willing fighter, so that could be of use to us. He has decent size and strength and while he isn't a sure bet to win every fight, he does his job and does it pretty well IMO. Plus he is young and has time to develop and improve his game, including his fighting skills.
He looked good there. And he's a southpaw. More toughness is good, even if he's a middleweight. I'm a big supporter of Stewart. I hope he gets in the last two games and makes an impact.
But the reas question is, Who's this D'Agostini? and Why would they call him up over Chipchura?
I think it was an article in the online Gazette today, but neither of the new boys will play against the Sabres. Hope they get a look in for the last game.

Does anyone know... is he injured??
I hate to be the one to break this news to you all, but it's bad. Real bad. They have put out a cover story saying that he is injured, but it's worse than that. He... I don't know how to put this... he...
left the team and went to Paris. There. I said it. I'm sorry. We're doomed.
