Glad to see we won't be going with a full roster for the next game at least. Best to rest the big guns.
That having been said, it really shows what the organization thinks of Chipchura that he wasn't called up. It's not like he's injured.

<insert sarcasm smilie>

I somehow knew the thread would turn into this after I posted in "Lord Chezz font" but damn it's cracking me up anyway.

Good for both of them,I would be happy if they each played a game or maybe both. Can't wait to see D'Agostini in action.

remember he had "food" poisoning after that night.
The more important question is "why Chipchura?" Why do so many people think he is deserving of a call up??? Talk about lack-o Gretzky skills on that guy!

They should have called Chipchura also.
No jokes, Chipper has more experience than both those players.

I'm guessing you didn't read any of the thread....

Yeah, right.... the flu. The "don't put Kovalev in right now just days before the playoffs flu".

These guys are not game time decisions, they are most likely being rested.

for those saying Stewart can fight, he can't. He is no better than "KO" Kosto. May even be a worse fighter(If there is such a thing).

This was one of his best fights this year. Not sure if the vid will play smoothly for anyone else, I had some problems with it but you get the idea.

I might have missed it, but I can't recall anyone in this thread making him out to be some sort of supreme heavyweight. Perhaps you can expand on your opinion a bit as to why you think he can't fight? He is a willing fighter, so that could be of use to us. He has decent size and strength and while he isn't a sure bet to win every fight, he does his job and does it pretty well IMO. Plus he is young and has time to develop and improve his game, including his fighting skills.

Chipchura is scaring me.... there must be something wrong if they don't want to call him up.

Does anyone know... is he injured??

I think it was an article in the online Gazette today, but neither of the new boys will play against the Sabres. Hope they get a look in for the last game.

I hate to be the one to break this news to you all, but it's bad. Real bad. They have put out a cover story saying that he is injured, but it's worse than that. He... I don't know how to put this... he...

left the team and went to Paris. There. I said it. I'm sorry. We're doomed.
