D'ago is the perfect replacement for Ryder.

Cool!

Expecting a slight drop in performance and emotion from the team in general tonight (division and 2nd place clinched) and totally agree with resting the small injuries before the playoffs.

Good time to throw in a rookie to see what he has in him and maybe add a little enthusiasm to the team. Going to the game tonight - so at least it will be nice to see how he progressed since camp.

I'm happy we will get to see what D'Agostini can do in the big league, so we know a little bit more what we could expect from him for next year.

Who knows, maybe he could replace Ryder permanently on our roster, next season.

I still think Ryder won't like what he gets as a UFA and will end up signing with the habs for around 2 million.

It will be fun to see how he's progressed. As far as replacing Ryder goes - I'd like to see an offensive player get close to a point per game in the AHL (a la SKost, Grabo, AKost, Plek) before giving him a steady job in the NHL.

I haven't had a chance to see any Bulldog games this year. So it will be nice to see how well he's progressed since training camp.

Maybe D'Ago will be the replacement of Ryder next year. Ryder is a UFA.

Line up for the playoffs

A.Kost. - Locke - S. Kost.
Higgins - Lapierre - D'Agostini
Kosto - Smoke - Latendresse
Begin - Chipchura - Dandenault

Markov - Komisarek
Gorges - O'byrne
Côté - Brisebois

If the bad luck continue with all those injury we will have a AHL team

Dogs have been awful this year. Not that D'Agostini's been so much better.

Still, kid's got speed, brains and decent hands. If he can work his butt off every shift he shouldn't look out of place.

You know, this lineup would probably still wipe the floor with the 2000-2001 Canadiens.

I can't wait to see how D'Agostini plays tonight. I've liked him a lot since he was drafted and can't wait to see how he plays in the bigs.

I wonder what number he's wearing. I hope he wears a real hockey number, such as: 15, 17, 24, 77, 88, 91, etc. And not NFL numbers: 85, 76, 69, 58, etc.

So only because Lindros and Fedorov played in the NHL, 88 and 91 are more NHL numbers than 85 and 76? I don't get it.

My guess is #42
