Rangers Clinch Playoffs for 3rd Straight Season!

(All celebration here)

Waaahhhoooooooo!!

Can't wait to see our team in the playoffs...Jagr heating up, Lundqvist playing his best hockey again, Captain Clutches mouth foaming with excitment to score some big goals, Gomez looking to give his ex team hell (If we play them)...

Life is good.

I don't know if I'll survive another post season. And the Devils in the first round??? That's going to be a nail biter of a series.

I look forward to Dawes scoring some clutch goals versus his *****, Brodeur!

Ah, playoffs are always awesome!

Man it's only been two months (today is the anniversary) since the Giants' finished their run that took several years off my life..I don't know how I'm going to handle another Rangers trip to the playoffs....

Then I think back to years 1997 to 2004 and realize that at least we're here.

Can't wait for next week...Lets go Rangers!!!

That Drury beard is epic

Him and Mara would be completely indistinguishable from each other with the beards though

The Rangers finally decided to do the things the right way--not that the NHL imposing the cap didn't help them make those decisions--and are being rewarded for it. We've got a good development system and our younger players are taking two or three slots out of training camp every year and this years crop--Staal, Dubinsky, Dawes, Callahan is the best ever. Anyway great job by the coaching staff down the stretch. Let's make some noise in the playoffs.

Let's go Rangers.

It's so nice to be able to watch Rangers playoff hockey every year!! I hope it becomes a tradition with this current group of players/youngsters. Dubinsky, Dawes, Callahan, Staal, and Girardi all in their first full NHL seasons and were vital parts to the lineup. Where would we be without these guys. Also congrats to Henrik on leading the league in shutouts!! 10 shutouts! That's fantastic!! The future is bright!!!

BTW - Rangers clinch a first round matchup with the Debbies if they win tomorrow.

Last year when we clinched i jumped up and down in my dorm room. This year i just sneaked in a cocky fist pump like I knew it was expected this time around. We want more than just clinching this season.

Just one small formula:
Hot Henrik + Hot Jagr + Drury_playoff_version = atleast ECF

Devils here we come (most probably !)

The whole eastern playoffs seem like it's going to be great this year. Philly/Caps vs Pens. That'll be quite an exciting one.

I guess that's the upside of there being no single dominant team that clinches. Exciting PO hockey for all

It's great going into the playoffs with a few more guys with Stanley Cup rings (Drury, Gomez) in addition to Jagr and Shanny this season!

It's looking that way! The Rangers need 1 win in their last 2 games or an Ottawa loss in their last game to seal a NJ/NYR series.
