Jackets @ Blues 4/5/08

Less than five hours till faceoff and no thread yet, so here is the barebones version. We've gotten blown out the last two times in St. Louis. Not really much to say, hopefully no one gets seriously injured...I guess?

Obviously the least important game of the season, and not televised.
That probably means we win an exciting game today and suck a fart out of a used car seat tomorrow at home for the finale.

But hey- GO JACKETS!

I'm hoping the game will be on TV tonight.

The free preview of MLB:EI has unintentionally given us a "free preview" of NHL:CI. And since the game is not on FSN Ohio, they should lift the blackout and let us see the game on NHL:CI.

I will be at work, so I won't see it live. I'll CD101 it online. But I will watch it tonight after work if there is anything major I want to see.

about 23 in attendance on a bus trip from the Jacket Backers fan club. I hope that...

1. We play a great game so their trip is worth it...or...

2. They are so drunk that they don't really give a ****!

Let's go Jackets! You need to grab a 3 or 4 points in your last couple of games. Beat the Blues! TWICE!

Forgot about the time change for the game, so couldn't watch this evening even if it were televised. Will keep an eye on the GDT to hear what those who can watch are saying. And... once again, (drum roll, canonnade, koolaid, whatever) GO JACKETS !!!!!!!

It just occurred to me.
This year we got a cannon (pretty cool) and we have the best season we have ever had, & are in the playoff hunt well into March.

So, let's get a couple more for next year - maybe that will put us over the edge?

Good idea, certainly better than over the ledge!

My fiancee is on the former Adelphia cable in the Newark area and she is getting the "free preview".

I have it on Time Warner in Dresden.

So basically it's down to if they lift the blackout on the game or not. We won't know until 5 p.m. If not, we CD101.com it.

By the way...

I got my Jim Day fix for today by watching the Reds game.

Even got my FarmersOnly.com commercial fix by watching that game.

It's not on CI to my knowledge, at least it's not listed on the channel guide for directv CI. It wouldn't be blacked out in columbus anyway if it was on CI. They only black out games if you live within an hour of another market. i.e. toledo with the Wings being to close to show jacket games.

Is there no radio of the game? The link on BlueJackets.com takes me to a replay of the last Red Wings game.

EDIT: It fixed itself now.
