Amazing season end team stats for Habs

#1 in goals scored at 262
#1 in powerplay efficiency
#1 best road record in the east
the least number of regulation time losses in the east (and 3rd overall)
total of 7 players over the 50 point mark (the only team in the league)
the 2nd best record in the league in their last 10 games - 8 wins (Caps have 9 wins)

Congratulations to the Montreal Canadiens for an amazing season

Has a team ever led the league in goals scored before without a player in Top 10 scoring?

This.... total of 7 players over the 50 point mark.... is what other teams should be worrying about. Secondary scoring? No problems at all.

Of course, most teams will fear the Power Play, but we can score at any time these days.

woot!

Those stats are real important. In the last 25 games, the Habs have really come together. They're not the same time as they were at the beginning of the season. Detroit and San Jose may have more points but I think these three teams are on the same level right now.

I'm not too pleased with those 68 goals allowed but that could be that we did have Komi, Boullion and Hamrlik out for a few games during that period. Maybe the coaching staff can work on the team's defensive play.

Since the All-Star break I've never seen a better Habs teams, keep in mind that I didn't keep track of them until well after their 1992-1993 season. Each game I know they're going to come out and play hard.

Season had its ups and downs... at the first half. Second half was great, especially post all-star. What a great team.

Habs are 44-20-8 vs conference (best in the East of course) considering we don't play in the SE division it's quite impressive
