its the match-up i wanted (even though they'd still be outcoached by Minny) hopefully it turns out well for the Avs.
PP is looking good lately...better late than never

Can't wait!
Bring 'em on. I respect the Wild, their system and players, but don't see any reason why the Avs can't compete with them.
As always when starting on the road, winning one of the first two games would be HUGE.

You hardly ever make predictions! I'm surprised. I'm hoping Bruno is the lucky charm.

Jori ,
Is it too late to add a poll ? could be fun to vote on who will win and in how many games .

Should be a very good series.
Minnesota has speed and has own us, but not today, hopefully a good sign for the playoffs.

As much talent and as well we have played in the last 4-5 games, don't see us winning.
Mediocre PK, horrid PP (although improved a bit with Forsberg), inconsistent goaltending, inability to win key faceoffs, incompetent coaching...that's a recipe for 1st round knockout in the playoffs.
Our boys would have to play en fuego 5v5 to overcome that. Wild in 6.

I say Avs in six if Forsberg doesn't miss a game.

I think the Avs are playing very well right now and Forsberg continues to excel. If he stays healthy I see the Avs winning it in 6.

Homer though I may be I don't think it's a stretch to say Colorado has all the tools to beat Minnesota...lets see what this team can do

Wild have a winning record against us this year, but I think with all the team healthy (minus Svatos, of course) and with the additions of Forsberg, Foote and Salei the Avalanche are capable of beating anyone.
That said, I think the Wild are a very good team, and they have a definite advantage when it comes to coaching. I think it will be a very close, low scoring series and in the end the Avs come out on top in 7.

I thought it was funny how the Avs wanted to get the win so they could face the Wild and avoid SJ and the Wild preferred to lose and face the Avs instead of Calgary. Minnesota has struggled with Calgary.

Take your classiness and go home. Minnisota will die.
Same to you fella. Two very talented teams. Minnisota=Anaheim though I think. So Avs should struggle a bit.

Series starting on Wednesday? That's what Channel 9 just said. Do we have official dates for all of the games yet?
