We've had them both in Hamilton, I'd take Price.

The Habs are more the underdog then the Bruins were according to Hockey experts ranking us next to last at the beginning of the season.

If the Bruins can't get to Price as a 20-year-old they'd have to develop or sign a superstar of their own. Thomas isn't going to win any Stanley Cups.

what pressure? boston-manufactured pressure? the kid is 20 and has exceeded ALL expectations. let him go out and have fun. if he's a world beater great; if not, we're back baby!

some good years coming

the bruins better understand this kid has a whole city and a hab nation BEHIND him, carrying him. we are not suffocating him with pressure.

From the same article.

Quote:
The youngster finished the season with good numbers: A 24-12-3 record for a .653 win percentage, a 2.56 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage which ranks eighth in the NHL.

But he has been spectacular since being handed the No. 1 job. He is 12-3-0 for an .800 winning percentage, has a 2.12 GAA and a .943 save percentage.
No Price on clutch goaltending, indeed.

Gee golly whiz.

All those lame threats in the air of the Bruins bullying us kind of reminds me of this:

LOL! Reminds me of watching a game last week with my brother. Price made a couple HUGE saves in a couple of seconds, and my bro's comment was "Wow, his heart beat TWICE that minute!"

Guys all of this bodes well.

Boston fans and players and management are desperately trying to convince themselves of reasons they can win this series.

Montreal is just coming in and saying it's a new series and they can't take them lightly.

If anything Boston's comments are littered with insecurity while ours are keeping our head cool and make sure we don't get caught up in the past.

Boston is dead in the water.

That's a great line.

As for Price "crumbling" under the pressure...I'm not too worried about that happening. I'd be more worried about Thomas crumbling under the pressure. The guy has played so bad against the Habs that it has to be in his head. Just imagine he lets up a goal in first 5 minutes of Game 1...the crowd will eat him alive.
