Dude, Price had the thickest beard of anyone on Hamilton last year. You'd never know it by looking at him now, but the dude looked 35 when he hoisted the Calder Cup.

Seriously, I thought Stewart was a prototypical lifelong ECHL player. It's only one game but still...

I'm pretty sure he had a some kind of beard last year in the AHL playoffs...

I dunno I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock into Stewart's one solid performance against a team like the Leafs. I don't expect him to see much time in the playoffs if he's ever dressed.

No I know but there's some here who think he's all but set to flank Higgins and Sergei.

Which is exactly what he needs in my opinion.

If the guy is serious, he'll be practicing full time whit a team in playoff mode, which will be great for his experience. And who knows if he might see some action, and maybe, perform well?

Price DEFINATELY did not have the best beard on the team. I wouldn't say he had one of the best either, as the images below should show.

Clearly, Yappy is not to be relied upon for impressive post-season facial hair. Price is about on par with Cory Urquhart. Even Locke had a better beard than Carey! Even. Locke! Chipchura had him beaten easily as well. As for Mikhail, maybe he thought they were trying to get him to grow a Bear and he didn't want to risk it? Other guys had some good beards - O'B, Ferland, Benoit... But the man with the greatest beard during the Dogs cup run last year was Mr. Ajay Baines Compared with Yappy, you can see just how good one is and how bad the other looks

And that concludes the beard lesson for today

Baines should be called up just for his beard. I think he's on an AHL contract, but that is incredible.

You wouldn't think so though...he looks so young without one!! It's pretty strange how he looks older with one on him.

Well I just listened to the PC and I guess our goal is to win the cup and not simply get playoff experience.

When I was younger and I grew my goatee I never got carded for buying alcohol and other things.... When I shaved, carded everytime.

Not that I was underage, cause i was 20 before i could grow a good goatee, but its something to note.

There is no reason for a goatee. Ever.
Laps wears his beard well, though.

Well, Janne Lahti was our third line winger at the start of the season. People are wrong, occasionally.
