Guys, the regular season has just ended and it's time to make a point on what the best Habs regular season games were. Like some of you, I like to keep tapes, DVDs, and videos of the best Habs games.
So here's the question : what 2007-2008 Habs regular season games should be considered classics ?
Please only submit the very best games of the regular season, the ones you'd like to watch again a few years down the road.
All I can think of right now is the comeback against the rangers! Clearly the best game this year, and one to watch again and again for sure in years to come.
I removed the download mention from my initial post. Let's get back to the subject : any other classic games from this season ?
What about the games against the Bruins ? The 7-4 shootout, the 8-2 wins (6 goals on our first 12), ... Price first career game or first career shutout ?
2008-01-24: Habs down 3-1 against the Devils in New Jersey, Habs tie it at 3-3 and with about 5 minutes left Higgins wins the faceoff pass to Saku drive to the net and hammer the rebound on way to a 4-3 win!
-Any of the Bruins games, but especially the one where Kostopolous scored 14 seconds in and we eventually won 8-2.
-The first Devils game we won, coming back from the 3-1 deficit in the 3rd.
-The first Flyers game of the year, when they could probably hear the booing of in Toronto every time Briere touched the puck, Komisarek beat up Hartnell, and we won 5-2
-The Pens game that went to the eight-round shootout, aka the "Markov Photoshop Thread Game"
-Huet's shutout of Washington
-The Leafs game that Komi won in OT, and the next one after it where Andrei Kostitsyn won it in the shootout
