Hackett has hardly been tested tonight.

This is such crap though. How can anyone go with a goalie who at any moment can get vertigo? We can't honestly make any kind of run with a goalie that is like a walking time bomb.

Good news for Hackett or good news for those that have to watch him? I would say yes to the former, no to the latter.

18 shots, 16 saves. .888% save percentage. Looks like he needs some more rest. About 6 months more.

Why would'nt they give Hackett another start? It's not like he saw much action. Maybe he's not feeling that well after the start. It's not as though he is comming back from a knee surgery. Is it possible to agrivate vertigo? Could I ask any more questions?

Was reading on another site, that a couple people thought the two goals he let in were not so great goals. But, more important, he seemed to have stumbled when the play wasn't anywhere near him, like he almost fell over and bumped right into the post. Who knows, maybe just a coincidence... but darn I hope he's not out there trying to kill himself.

Yup, I read that too, it looks as though this wasnt a made up thing to give him a break and he actually does have something. Having said that, if he feels bad he should bring himself out of a game, it takes more of a man to tell the coach he cant go on than to stay in net.
I hope hes not in goal for the Devils because he cant let in any soft goals or the game will be lost again.

Seems to me the Phantoms site had it 16 shots and 14 saves. And people on here say the goals were not so good. Maybe these rumored trades over the All-Star break will materialize.

Hackett, sent down from the Flyers for rehab, started off strong with eight saves in the first period. He made his first save on Joe Hulbig.

The goalie was suffering from vertigo and still has some signs of dizziness. He said he can lose perspective with quick head turns, but only had to deal with a few scrambles in front of the net during Friday’s game.

Hackett done?

I found this on the LiveJournal Hockey Community. I thought it was great. If they visit here, then I give them the credit, if not, well, I didn't make it.
