I'd like to see an intro with Anthem for the year 2000 by silverchair...all the lyrics talking about the youth taking over hte place would be really appropriate...

I'd also see Muse's Glorious or Invincible being played with images before the players enter

OT-about AC/DC

A quick story about "Thunderstruck"

First off, I have been an Ac/Dc fan since the day I heard Dirty Deeds as a "brand new release". Everything up to For Those About.... is a gem.

Ok....I used to work in the music industry.

One night we were at a show from one of the Warner Canada artists and Thunderstruck came on over the PA in the lobby where we were chatting. One of us was a sales rep from Warner Canada. When the vocals came in on the song, the Warner guy starts laughing and hiding his face.

He says, "I can't believe I have to sell this crap!" We all ROFL'd.

Johnson's voice was soooo shot by that point he started sounding more like Daffy Duck then the awesome vocals on the Back in Black release. Thankfully, he has seemed to get back some voice in later years.

Like I said, I am a fan, but that song needs a new vocal track

Both great tunes but unless there is a splifful of THC coarsing through your arteries, hardly blood pumping material IMO.

*lunges across the room at you*

Damn you music exeeeeeeeeeeeeeeecs! Damn you all to heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell!

Seriously though, when I think about how Bob Rock took away Metallica's energy, or all the 2nd albums where the band wrote mellower songs just for airplay...GAH!

Need to use some Strapping Young Lad for warm-ups. Wrong Side, Detox, Relentless, Skeksis, SYL, In The Rainy Season, Love?, etc...

Helstar, Children of Bodom and Manticora would be good bands to listen to as well. Take your pick of their songs.

Slayer, Pantera and Metallica should be taken as granted to be included.
