It's been a pleasure conversing with most of you Habs fans over the past few days. 7 hours from now, though, it's on, and I'm as passionate about the Bruins as you are about the Habs, so I suitably expect the comraderie to end.
Cheers folks, I have a ton of respect for many of you, but from now on, the gloves are off and I don't expect we'll see eye to eye on much. At the very least though, lets try to keep it civil!
Yea guys, the excitement is building, I know we both hate each other but the rivalry is so great it doesnt matter. We can trash talk each other but at the end of the day would you rather see a Bruins vs Habs game or a Habs/Bruins vs Devils game.
The goosebumps are starting and this quote came to mind from a great movie named Anchorman.
From deep down in my stomach, with every inch of me, I pure, straight hate you. But goddammit, do I respect you!
Rock on Habs fans, time for the best sports series ever, Bruins vs Habs.
"It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out where the strong man stumbled, or where a doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man in the arena whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs, and who comes up short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause. The man who at best knows the triumph of high achievement and who at worst, if he fails, fails while daring greatly, so that his place will never be with those cold timid souls who never knew victory or defeat."
Here's to all the men in the arena tonight; Habs and Bruins. I don't expect any dust, but the sweat and blood will flow...
