OT Mich-ND Frozen Four

Anyone watching this on ESPN 2? What a game. Michigan down 3-0 after the first period, find a way to tie it. Then ND scores, 4-3 them. And now with 5 mintes to go Mich tied it again. SHould be fun if it goes to OT.

EDIT: O and it was rangers prospect Carl Hagelin that tied it up.

That was a really weak goal to tie it up. Overtime is starting to look likely.

The kid Gerbe was incredible for BC. He's incredibly fast.

For fans of "Slap Shot", junior center Christian Hanson for Notre Dame is the son of Dave Hanson from the cult hockey classic.

WHO OWN DA CHIEFS?

Christian will also be playing a lead role in the sequel as well. Just something to keep an eye out for...

Congrats to BC! You guys out-skated us all night. Gerbe is a phenom.

That disallowed goal was tough but I thought it was the right call.

Thanks for being classy, the last 2 years were brutal but it makes this victory that much sweeter. You guys are building a great program (now you just need a rink to go with it ) and have some impressive recruits coming in. You'll be back.

Oh, and Nate Gerbe might be the most exciting player I've had the privilege of watching in some time. Great pick by Buffalo.

Jeff Jackson has done an unbelievable job with this program, especially given our facilities...or lack thereof. Once we get the new rink built, I see ND joining the elite group of college hockey programs out there...or so I hope.

Tough losing to BC again, even though it was the first time since '01 in hockey. You guys have our number lately in football and I hope that doesnt continue with hockey as well. We'll see what happens next year though...in both sports.

Thursday just epitomizes Michigan sports. You knew they were going to blow this tournament. Every year its the same story with this school. They almost always lose the big game and dissapoint. Being a Michigan fan is torturous
