That's a tad far and will never happen. I understand your frustration with the whole situation last night and can't give you an answer as to why they did that. Oh well, at least you guys got to see a win.

I went to game 1 and sat in the 100's. Those seats are small and the legroom is cramped. After all the great things I heard about the Rock I figured the seats would be better. No better then the seats that I have in the 300's (actually I think I have more leg room at MSG).

Did you wipe with the towel afterwards? That would have made the story.

Anyway, this just further shows how insecure and classless the Devils' organization is going into this series. Any other team would welcome the opposition into their building in the name of having a competitive, spirited contest, but apparently the Rangers and their fans strike fear into the Debbies' hearts.

It's really all pretty silly, though. Obviously the Rangers can upset the Devils any night of the week, with or without pom-poms, so for the Devils' organization to get that bent out-of-shape over some fan apparel...just plain ridiculous.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned the Devil fans throwing garbage on the ice after the game.

There was a fight/altercation in 133 during the 3rd period where some Devil fans down below and in 134 were giving Ranger fans a hard time so the Ranger fan started retaliating and got thrown out. Not saying they didn't deserve it because they ended up throwing popcorn and beer on the people down below but it seemed to start when a Devils fan blew his air horn into the Ranger fans ears. Then the ushers come down and its the Ranger fans who get thrown out, even the ones that weren't doing anything... just because they were with the guy who did deserve to be thrown out. Then the Devil fans from 134 came over and took their seats and drank the beers that were left behind. Crazy.

Thought I might have saw a brief glimpse of that as parise(pandolfo?) and langenbrunner were beating the crap out of the walls into the lockerroom...

It's what we've come to expect from an organization who's been better than us but STILL has a massive, MASSIVE inferiority complex in regards to the Rangers.

Take it as a form of flattery.

I guess these are the sad measures a franchise has to take when none of their so-called "extended fan-base" buys tickets to a HOME PLAYOFF GAME. Its pretty damn sad, but i'm LOVING it.

Poor ******** built this multi-million dollar arena and they have to make a concerted effort to thwart the opposition fan color, because their "Rock Your Red" ploy was poorly designed. How do you expect to make and impact on the arena (like Washington, were their fans actually go to games...) when you give out WHITE towels, the color of the visiting teams jerseys?

It didnt matter even if all the Rangers fans wore Red, because right after Marty let up those two goals you could easily distinguish the amount of Devils fans that were there: Not many.

Yeah....I know....classy.

An usher I've gotten friendly with over the year first told me this (I also heard it from a few fans) and that it created a disgusting mess at multiple bathrooms around the arena after game 1. Imagine having to clean that up? GROSS!!! So sadly because of the actions of probably 30 low-class Ranger fans, all the good Ranger fans had to suffer.
With that reasoning, they should not hand towels out at all, seeing as there was more than two dozen or so towels, and a couple beer bottles/cans/etc, being thrown on the ice in the Rangers direction after the game by a bunch of idiot Devils fans.

My brother and I were sitting in sec 15 and everything was fine the whole game even some friendly chatter with some of the devils fans. The in the 3rd when the rangers scored I jumped up with my beer in hand (into the isle mind you) and high fived another rangers fan in the isle.

Apparently my beer spilled and all of a sudden like 4 of the people sitting around me ran to the usher and cried about it. So of course my brother and I get taken out and they take us down to some ******** room and start asking for IDs and such.

I tell them to go **** themselves we will leave but having commited no crime we arent giving you ****.

So to make a long story short some big fat security dude escorts us out and as were out the door the dude picks me up with my back to him and throws me on the ground so my brother decks him in the jaw and gets put in a cop car....blah blah 35 minutes later he's let go because those ****ing retards don't want to get sued.

least I got to see both goals they were so close together ^_~

Busch league. 100%. Devils management should feel downright ashamed of themselves.

Well, you could understand from a Devils standpoint. You want to create the best home ice advantage as possible when you expect so much of the opposition. I was at game 1 with my cousin and we were both wearing Ranger jerseys and weren't given towels (not that I wanted one). I saw plenty of the pom pom's and "LET'S GO RANGER" signs. The best was when a couple of kids in front of me held up their Ranger signs and started to "polish" them with the Devils towels. That riled up a couple of whiny Devils fans but got a good laugh from both sides.

Wow man that's really unbelievable and worse than all of the stories thus far, I'd consider suing the ******** anyway, you did nothing wrong and got thrown out, hassled, and physically assaulted.

Since they are taking their jerseys and hats anyway, lets just strip them all naked and throw hot dogs and beer at them while the Rangers win 10-0!!
