As I said in the GDT:

Wow. Some people really need to calm down. We WILL lose games like this one on the way. Don't expect us to sweep everyone all the way to the Cup. If you really think Bruins will win the serie after a OT win at home, then go cheer for them, and don't comeback.

We need to win one out two in Boston. I guess the one will have to be on Tuesday.

It's the way you lose.

We barely one game 2 and lose game 3.

And if you want to be totaly oblivious dont expect the rest to follow you....

There are things to adress. The best team tonight for the better part of the game was Boston.

Breezer is out, so is Dandy. O'Byrne and Stewart are in i say and NOT Grabovsky, he's a lightweight and this is a mens series.

some fans in the GDT are way out of control.
we lost 1 game which we had plenty of chances to win in OT, still lead the series, however reading their comments, you would think were down 3-0.

its sad how some fans can be so high one day and then the next we suck?

..you cant win every game against them, eventually they were going to win.

-Streit out, O'Byrne in.

-Ryder out, Streit in at forward.

We simply can't have Komisarek and Hamrlik double shifting because Streit can't play D.

I would also consider sitting Latendresse or Dandenault in favour of Grabovski.

worst effort of the year.

Top 2 lines were completely invisible....I can't remember hearing Higgins name, pleks looked scared...

So basically Bruins won 2-1 against our 4th line and Price

AND WHAT'S WITH THAT DUMP AND CHASE CRAP??? We didn't finish 1st in the East and 1st in GF doing that, old and slow teams do that not us

Its the fact the team is not delivering inspiring performances. Game one was amazing, both games since have been Carey Price featuring the Turnovers who've lost their lead singer to inconsistency.

Who here really thought Montreal would sweep Boston? Really?

Thought so.

Boston was playing for their playoff lives tonight. If they got down 3-0, the series would have been all but over. This game was a must-win for them, and so they went and got it... barely. A 3-0 series lead is a rare thing, you know.

Do not let the start of the game color your perceptions too much. Boston certainly did not outclass the Habs, who had most of the best chances from the second period on out. It was a good, well-fought, up-and-down game, a very exciting game, actually. I felt that Montreal actually had more chances, particularly late, but couldn't get the vital bounce. I'm not overly disappointed by the way they lost this game. Typical Boston game -- hang on with pure defense and score on some breakdown. It worked tonight, but it's a dangerous game.

The way the Habs played on Saturday and the sudden disappearance of the PP are worrisome, but those are fixable problems. The power play has lost this element of mobility that made its strength before; they need to get back to it. Hopefully a good practice tomorrow will help that.

Montreal is still leading the series 2-1, after all, and the possibility of a road split remains. Game 4 is always a pivotal game in any series, possibly the most pivotal, and Montreal must come out strong to win it. The possibility of a Bruins comeback is very real, certainly, and the Habs need to make sure to quelch it as soon as possible.

all good.Price was the only reason we were in this one as long as we were.

Tom Kostopoulos has been a monster for us so far in the first 3 games

lets take game 4 and head home.

Little concerned with our ineffective PP.

Bouillon and O'Byrne in.
Brisebois, Dandenault out.
Streit forward.

Is Bouillon ready? And what about Koivu? Did the skate so far?

I completely agree with you, Breezer, althought decent in game 1 and 2, is totally outmatched physically, we need O'Byrne robust style, and Dandy, he may well have 3 Stanley Cup rings, but he's mostly a non-factor on that line with Lapierre (who's playing great in his role) and Latendresse. Stewart would be an awesome addition, another physical player...

I mean, I want to remain positive, but I can't hide the fact that I'm fairly worried right now. These last two games have been far from convincing.

With that said, we weren't going to win em' all, and this series is far from over. We just need to see how well this team responds in game 4. I hope this loss lit a fire under their collective *****.

I still believe...

The coaching staff needs to make the necessary lineup and tactical changes, while the team needs to realize what they did so well in game 1 and did not so well in games 2 and 3. Let's not forget this: the Bruins basically played their BEST tonight, with their backs against the wall and still needed OT to beat us on a night where we were very average most of the time.

Thats hockey, you play well sometimes, and you suck other times.
thats how it goes. played like crap, yet still had chances to win the game.

...your never in trouble untill you lose a game on home ice.

LOL... The way we lose?

We lost 2-1 in fricken OT! We came inches from winning the game! What more do you want?

I could understand the whining if Boston came out and beat us 8-0 but for Christ sake, it could of went either way.
