He will be evaluated on Wednesday, so the earliest he could return is Game 5.

I want an update on Bouillon, he would be huge in this series for us as he is great physically and he would take the third pairing left defence away from Streit who has been terrible.

Bouillon is a warrior and I hope he and Koivu are back soon.

I wouldnt rush back because the Bruins will take liberties on him... I would certainly get O'Byrne in the lineup and move Streit up front...

FIXED!!!

I hope Koivu comes back soon, we could use the extra offensive boost from him. We need another offensive centermen to help create scoring chances.
I never thought I would say this, but Boullion would be a welcome addition to the blueline over Brisebois. We need Boullion's toughness back on the blueline instead of Breeze-by's complete softness. He's like a roll of Charmin back there....soft as cotton!!

Marinaro on the team 990 said a few minutes ago that Bouillon would be a game time decision for game 4. That's the most complete update I've heard the last few days, aside from the usual ''he needs a few more days'' we have heard in his case.

Hopefully he's right.

Exactly, put Streit up front and SIT Ryder, who has been invisible. When is this guy going to step up for once this year?

That would be great, a Bouillon even at 60% is better than Streit on D at 100%.

Ryder invisible?? What team are you watching...if anything he's been TOO visible, trying to skate with the puck and beat guys 1 on 1 instead of making more simple plays. The same could be said for the Pleks line, get more shots to the net.

I'd sit Dandenault long before sitting Ryder.

What game have you been watching? I rather dandy or Tenderness sit. Ryder is at least shooting which is more then can be said for many of his teammates yesterday.

I find his skating helps a bit in breakouts, when he's on his game. He isn't creative but he joins the rush and adds an option. For all the crap we're read here, they're better with him than without him.

Koivu Injury Update

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/249888.html

News are more encouraging for Saku Koivu. He'll pass new X-rays on Wednesday, and depending on the results, he could even take part to the practise held on the same day.

Praise to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, it's great news that Saku could be back in the line up shortly.

This team DOES miss Saku out their and Francis B.

Don't know about Bouillon yet. He did skate on the last practice at the bell centre, but I think he didn't follow the team in Boston.

Francis is apparently a game time decision for game #4, according to another poster on here who said he heard it on Team 990.

Bouillon Injury Update

Thanks for the merge, now I can't modify the title...

Bouillon skated on Monday, but he'll be game-time decision for Game 4.

Exactly. Streit to Lats / Laps line and bring in O'Byrne for him. Hopefully when Cube comes back we can sit Brisebois too.

And when Koivu returns, sit Begin probably.

Good to see that Bullion is almost back from his injury. I think he will suit up in Game 4 to give the Habs some more moxie from the back end. His physical presence and speed will be gladly welcomed. It will push Streit into a forward position and Dandenault in the pressbox.

It is also positive to see that Koivu is close to coming back. Hopefully, the Habs have the fortitude to win this series without Koivu so he can get sufficient rest for the next one (knock on wood).

I agree.

There's no question, in my mind, that Ryder, while not contributing much, is still playing better then Plekanec.

However, Ryder gets ridden relentlessly in these forums and Plekanec basically gets a free ride.

It's sad how the fan-boys and haters in here conspire to trash certain players on the team no matter what.
