When the Habs beat them 15 times in 16 games, it's just coincidence, luck, and cheating.

Blah blah blah.
So true. As a fan base, they are the biggest bunch of whiners on these boards. Not all, but it's become pathetic. Whenever they are challenged some numbnuts will say, "stay off our board". In other words, "leave us alone and let us wallow in our own self pity". Get over it whiners, you're losing to a better team, plain and simple.

The funnest thing coming out of last nights game is saying Komisarek is classless for a supposed hunchback pose which so far nobody has proven ever happened, but it's okay for a 19 year old punk to do the hanky thing to our captain. Yeah alot of class there.

They say Komisarek went for the knees, which is complete BS, but it's okay for their boys to slewfoot two of our players and crosscheck in an area where Komisarek is injured. Good tough hockey.

Schit happens in the game of hockey. Get over it already.

I have to be honest, the only time a dive is a bad play is when you get called for a dive. Embellishment of penalties is what gets extra PP time, and thus an edge for your team. Any player who isn't embellishing a little bit isn't trying hard enough.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and that's why you have to pick your moments to embellish.

I know I'm in the minority, and it doesn't mean I like seeing dives, it just means I think/know they're part of the game.

Maybe we should change our avatars and have them say: :"DIVE for 25" instead of "Drive for 25"... you know, just to be nice and accomodating.

I have no problem with diving, it's not the player's fault if the ref falls for it. Sometimes you gotta go outside the rules for results. If your not cheating your not trying. To all those lovers of honesty, flame away if you want, you know it's true.

meh... the Sens think a delay of game is a dive for the Penguins.. Desperate fans pull out all the excuses from the bag, timely or not.

You know you're right though. While "diving" blatantly isn't exactly the macho thing to do, if it gets you a powerplay who cares! Players do it at all ages, and not just in hockey. It's part of the game.. Kind of like an NFL lineman making it look like he got hit by a train, or a MLB catch framing a pitch a little outside. Those whole "diving" thing is way over blown I think.

Their bras probably exploded when the Habs scored today.
Is this a hockey forum or a place for you to build up your self-esteem?

You Montreal fans are being pretty cocky for having played 3 straight 1 goal games against the 8 seed.

I'll just be glad to send them to the golf course and hopefully meet up in the second round with a team that has fans who can count past 10. Talking to Bruin fans is like talking to that kid in junior high who just tried to beat everyone up and who took the short bus to school.

Nothing is their team's fault, it's ALWAYS someone else. Refs, diving, fluky goals, bad luck etc. They've been the same way all season no matter who they were playing.

I give the Bruins TEAM credit for playing their ass off every night but their fans

I give Boston a ton of credit, they have played the game they have to play. Unfortunately even though Boston has played well, they are still down 3-1 in the series and that's the only thing that matters.

Watching he game with a few posters last night, we said the same thing. I don't care if the shots on goal are 65-20, if Komisarek wants to re-enact the War of 1812, and be on our side of course, if Chara wants to eat Kovalev's children, who cares, I want the CH to win. When they do, I'm happy.

I guess I don't really understand the need for all these personal attacks. Not many people on our board are blaming the refs for last night but you know, we are all women and babies or whatever.

Why can't you just rebut what those people are saying with real hockey talk?

Its a reaction to a reaction.

Waffldave is being snotty because he's trying to react to the way the Bruins board has been acting (plenty of personal attacks as well).

But in turn, that leads more bruins fans to be snotty..

Which leads more Habs fans to act like idiots...

Which leads more ...

Anyway.

I say: "Let the boys play!"

dude, i'd say at least half the posts on the bruins board are either blaming the refs, calling the habs divers, saying komi wanted to end lucic's career last night, ect, ect, ect. it's absolutely ridiculous. i really thought the sens were the worst for this, but damn i was wrong!

so from now until chara is golfing....

I think the arguments get heated because of the passion that people have for their hockey teams. It's one thing to have a beer and have an intelligent argument, but getting behind a keyboard and monitor tends to bring out the taunts a little more I guess.

Anyway, I'm not going to make any qualms, I hate the Bruins, and I hate Claude Julien even more, but I do respect them as opponents. I will sometimes lose my temper when things don't go the habs way though, I'm sure there are more than a few habs and bruins fans that do that though.

It's part of what makes us passionate. You can't rationalize that. Especially when it's written down.
