I don't know why everyone is arguing, Price IS Clutch.

5 goals a game is clutch right?

okay...maybe you should count every single game he won with Washington to set a franchise record for most wins in a row, because every game the Caps were facing elimination, and every game he came up huge.

The way his rules work you can't mention any good games Price had against Boston. You can only mention Philly games, because that is who Huet lost to. But he lost better. Get it? Huh?

Me neither!

Personally I agree with you. Huet was looking left and the puck was right and he just let is roll around until it was batted in. But that did happen in OT which makes it okay. Logical huh?

But you want to ignore the 3.75 GAA and .856 SV% Price had vs the same team Huet had a 2.93 GAA and .910 SV% ?

Oh and Huet had a higher SV% than Price in the playoffs too.

what, you don't want to talk about Price record when both him and Huet when #1 on their respective teams ? how surprising

Here's a stat for you: Price made it past the first round, Huet didn't. How bout another one, Price is 20 years old, Huet is 30 something.

Huet did not have a future with this team. Let it go. Arguing about whether or not we could have gone further with Huet is futile, because we'll never know.

Wins are a team stat. If you think Wins are a goalie stat then you do agree that MA Fleury is a lot better than Price since he has many more wins than Price?

The 1st part of your post is debateable (though I really don't want to) on how Huet could've done if he were here, seeing he is a Bruins killer.

2nd, you're right, he didn't have a future, it doesn't mean his tenure couldn't have last 3 more months or so.
Arguing is useless, but I can't take credit for this one, I didn't start it this time, I just joined in.

But you're right, it's getting tiring talking about the same thing all the time whenever it pops up.

Listen dimwits, the Habs didn't have faith in Huet and Huet lost the starting job to Price. It was his to lose and he did just that, so is it possible for your dead horse beaters to grow a brain and begin to think intelligently?

The level of stupidity on this board is shocking.
