question about pick-up hockey

hey guys i live in maryland, and i havent played in about 12 yrs. i saw that the gardens ice house has stick and puck pick-up, i was wondering if anyone here knows do they actually play like regular pick-up or do you just shoot the puck around and work on your game by yourself.

How about calling the rink and asking them?

Pick-up = game
Stick time = everyone is out there with puck just shooting around

Pick ups are awesome. Its like a game but everyone gets 5 minute shifts.

Nothing in the world I like more than pick up hockey. I'm playing tomorrow at noon and it's easily the highlight of my day. Great people, great environment, and hockey. I always have a great time. I seem to meet one new person there everytime I go that I wanna chill with.

If it's stick and puck, and it's put on by the arena, I doubt they would have a game, due to the liability concerns of having a game when people aren't required to wear full equipment. I don't think I've ever seen a stick-and-puck session that allowed an actual game.
