Some women find power attractive... Lets hope lilwinger is one of them.

and at this rate I'll be an Admin by the end of the playoffs.

That's awesome natey, the same thing happened to me. But it wasn't on the phone, we were chatting. We almost left one another, we were seeing each other less and less and then we started chatting and she was all enthousiastic about something the Carolina Hurricanes had just done(she was from there) against the Habs and I cut it short. She kept e-mailing me for days somewhat apologizing but I decided to not respond (since I was mad). But then when I tried to do it, my computer went caput for good and couldn't reach her(and didn't feel like phoning her). Months went by and then I used one of my friend computer and went to see my inbox and it was full of e-mails from her! I thought about responding but didn't want to see her anyway so I killed the account. And that was that.

So yea the Carolina Hurricanes killed my relationship.

lilwinger wants the simple life, not that of a companion to a busy absentee ruler of the world. She, I am sure, much prefers the cosiness of a backyard dog house.

Surely... sleeping on the floor, no TV to watch the Habs game.... I'm sure thats what she wants

We can have a 95 inch HD screen baby.... for road games... we'll have season tickets at home...

It has never happened to me...but I have to admit that it would be pretty hard to live with a die hard Leaf/Bruin/Sen fan.

I remember once, I was contemplating breaking up with this girl because we didn't do anything. She'd come over, we'd watch movies, we'd do our thing, and she'd leave a few hours later. It was fun, especially in College, but it obviously wasn't going anywhere.

I was thinking of breaking it off with her as I said.. it was after a game when the Leafs beat the Habs in OT.. she called to rub it in, all in good fun.. and I just told her I couldn't do it anymore. Haha, breaking up over the phone sucks.. but I had no self control, so if I saw her, BAM. lol..

She probably thought I broke up with her because she was joking around about the Habs sucking, which partially, is true after thinking about it. Poor girl.

I'm an ass.

Anyone else have stories like this?
Its worth breaking up with them in the playoffs only to have angry make-up sex when the season is over.

My gf has no interest in hockey, or any pro sports, but tries to show an interest for my benefit. I was pretty upset after last night's game, but she went out last night so we only spoke really briefly. I woke up to this msg on facebook from her:

"morning
dont be upset about the habs, they will obviously win the next game, boston just wanted to hold on for some extra money.
i am cleaning my room, then off to the lib.
talk to you later.
and DONT be upset about hockey!!!!!
xo"

haha I don't know whether to be happy because she's trying to understand / help with something she knows nothing about, or be concerned that her last sentence spells doom lol.

Dude, you're awesome. I don't know why, but I laughed so hard at that.

I dated a leafs fan, back when the leafs finished 2nd, or 4th. Montreal finished... heh.... don't want to remember. Needless to say, it caused my hatred for the leafs to grow exponentially.

Also, I swear I dated the only girl from Montreal to not like the habs. Even worse, she'd rub it in when they lost, and she knew jack **** about hockey.

We'd "do our thing" (If you know what I mean ) then watch hockey and pretty much ignore her until commercials and intermission. Maybe I'm terrible too, who knows?

I'm in the early stages of a relationship with a HUGE Bruins fan. (Listens to all their games on the radio even) It's kind of long distance right now so we've kind of agreed not to talk about the games when we talk on MSN. But she is a great girl so it should be ok.

To those who were waiting in nervous agony to hear my story. She accepted

Good day today... although I lost my cell phone and got a flat tire. It all cancels out though.

I hope her number wasn't in that cell phone... and your only way of contacting her.
