I guess Wolski is Han Solo since he acts like a punk half the time but he's always there when it matters to save the day.

Dude Billy Dee Williams is waaaaaaaay too awesome to be portrayed by Granato.

Granato and Q are the morons who designed a planet sized battlestation that conveniently self destructs if you shoot a torpedo into a shaft.

Billy Dee Williams would be Eric Brewer if anything.

Good thing we have rebel troops on Endor led by a battletorn scruffy nerf-herder (Forsberg), a princess (Theodore) and the little people that can still pack a punch (Arnason and Laperriere)
fixed

on a side note

GO AVS GO! time to end this

Wow, I have a sudden urge to pop in Jedi...and see if the soundtrack matched up with the Avs game tonight...

That is the rumor...right?

(PS...I know that is a "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wizard of Oz" reference, but I figured it would fit)

For the first time in many years I feel a bit relaxed before a crucial hockey game. Most of the stomach ulcers I have came from watching the Avs and cursing at their ownership and management through the years. Game 5 changed that. I feel a bit confident.

I donít know if it worked out well in Game 5 because Q tried everything else and failed, or whether he finally wised up and discovered the neutral zone. After years of giving up the neutral zone to the opposition and inviting them graciously into our zone, the theme changed. The result: The Avs are playing classic hockey again. Thank god, better late than never!

I finally got a chance to watch the rerun of game 5, and I liked what I have seen. From the game comments I read, I was preparing myself to watch a dull classic Avs game. In contrast, I thought the Avs played one of the most sound hockey games I have seen in a very long time. True, the Wild dominated but what I liked was how we fought back and how we weathered the storm. That by itself means a lot to me! This is how you become a contender! The Avs exhibited the three basic elements of a good hockey game. Sound defense, potent offense and superb goaltending. The Wild were stunned! They were not used to seeing the Avs playing a complete and sound hockey game.

As long as the Avs convert on their PP, the Avs will have a chance. This is a finesse team, they canít beat up anybody, but if you play them physical theyíll punish you with their PP. That will make the opposition think twice before roughing them up. Additionally, I liked the one-timer by Wolski, thatís the way! Wolski has a great shot but he doesnít have the confidence to shoot. If someone could work on that with him, heíll be scary! As I said many times before without the one-timers the PP becomes useless!

What I also have noticed is that the Avs were using their sticks more efficiently, something I credit Q with, no doubt. And man, I just canít speak enough of Salei. He has been huge for us. This guy can single handedly change the dynamics of the Avs game when he is on ice.

Finally, I hope the Avs will go after the kill tonight and finish them right here. But wait a minute, that canít be, those are the Avs! It has to come down to the last 3 seconds of the second OT of game 7. Just ask my stomach ulcers!

Clearly at this point, if we put forth the type of effort we did in game 5, we will lose this game, we got to start winning races and battling hard. If the Avs lose game 6, im not confident that we can win game 7. The Avs must put the Wild to bed tonight.

Wonder if we'll see the same lines as in period 3 of Game 5 or if Q will be throwing darts again.
