Somewhat OT - The Jinx

It has happened again, Pierre Rinfret just said it will be a "walk in the park" for Montreal tomorrow in Boston... This guy clearly doesn't know when to shut it...I am scared now

I clearly don't believe you're still watching "110%" instead of "La Zone".

If some 110%esque baffoon says it and they're not real Habs fans, then it doesn't count as a jinx. Openly trying to jinx or even reverse-jinx a team doesn't count as a jinx. It has to be sincere to count.

Since when this loser means something for hockey, the Habs or sports in general ?

If the Habs loose this series, it's gonna be their own fault.

AS I said all along this season, this team is not built for playoffs' hockey. They still might win this first series but they won't go far after this one. And if they do, it's gonna be a miracle. And this miracle got a name: Price.

How are we not built for playoff hockey?! The problem is the guys for the most part have not shown up to play, and those who have (Smokes, Begin, Kosto, Hamrlik, Price(minus game 5) have been showing us we can play playoff hockey.. Go watch some of the other series going on right now, they aren't the trap-fest we are seeing here... We we're in complete control of the game until the ref's called a real questionable one on Hamrlik that led to Kessel's goal, then Price coughed up the game winner and it completely demoralised our guys. If we play like we did in the first period of game 5, all game tonight, we win. Simple as that, we we're patient waited for Boston to screw up and it was working pretty well..

If any team decides to open up the game against Montreal, they are going to learn very quickly what brought us to the dance.

Its simple if we can't score against the Bruins theirs no need to advance to the second round. 3goals in 3 games. thats scary

1. Boston plays well defensively
2. We are not playing our best hockey right now. We are going to bounce back.

I think the way Boston is playing right now, they could beat anyone.

Habs could've swept this series if the PP had worked at the same clip it was basically all season long, that's the difference.

24.1% in the regular season and just 8% in the playoffs, that's a difference of 4 PP goals. The only other playoff team with single digit PP percentage was Ottawa at 7.7%, and look where they are now.

If Mtl can get their PP working tonight the series wil be over.

Fair enough, but in the grand scheme of things, Boston is the weakest team in the playoffs. The play is only going to get tighter in the next round, and if were only scoring 1gpg now it might be a quick second round.

What we need now, is to get our good 2nd line back.
Higgins is not a centerman and doesn't know what to do..Ryder was as useless as in the reg season, and Latendresse has 0pt.

Bringing Koivu back will get us the offensive dept we had all season long, Something we now clearly lack.

Our team has bounced back pretty well after losing this season, they did it also in Game4, so im not worried.

I was scared of Boston before the series, I knew everybody would underestimate them. They finished the year strong and were a confident bunch. I thought it was gonna end in 6, hopefully i'll be right.

Forget about Rinfret, I am the jinx.

Last three times I saw the Habs in the playoffs: 1- Eliminated by Carolina, 2- Eliminated by Carolina, 3- Lost to Boston this week on thursday.

I saw the Habs loose their last game before the winning streak in Boston last year, and I saw them loose in New York on dec 30th this year.

My brother had tickets for today's game in Boston, I refused to go....

I feel your pain: 1st game this year Ottawa 6 Habs 1 in Ottawa
2nd game this year Columbus 3 Habs 0
400$ later and I never really got to cheer for 1 goal.
