I told my friend if The Habs don't win game 5, The Bruins will win the series.. It looks like that's may just happen. Unless some miracle occurs before game 7, The Bruins should win this series. They've dominated since game 1. Both Habs victories since game 1 were due to great amounts of good fortune.

Where the EFF was Kovalev tonight? Lazy ******* from 2006-07 made a comeback. No forecheck whatsoever on the same shift as the fifth goal. Couldn't clear the puck a few seconds later. Wasn't even close to being involved before the GWG was scored because NO ONE was around Sturm, on his side of the ice.

Koivu played balls out tonight. We go down 4-3 and he goes in the forecheck hard, creating a turnover and BOOM! goal. Kovalev, take a freaking memo please.

Call outs aren't my thing but his game tonight was disgusting.

It might not even be philly anyway.

If the Bruins win game 7 they'll still be tired/banged up/lacking in talent. All they got is heart, which is apparently enough to win games against a much more talented and deep habs team.

What do I look up to see? 11:11.

****ing number.

I think it accompanies misery.

Trade Kovalev in the off-season, I don't care how good he's been in the regular season. Let him reel us in some value 'cause I've just had enough of being lulled in by his spectacular play and when I need him, the team needs him, the fan needs him, he's no where to be found in the ray of positive light.

Score and SOG are misleading.
This was a total domination by the Bruins.
This felt like a 60 minute PK to me.

Key to beat the Habs. Dump the puck in Montreal zone and apply pressure with 2 men. You will get the puck 99% of the time.

This was a problem all year long but fortunately not too many teams used this strategy against us. Julien finally understood that and since then it's all Bruins.

Kovalev was awful. His line was incredibly bad. Without a doubt our worst line by FAR. No guts at all. Soft soft soft soft soft. Dump and retreat strategy.

Koivu and Higgins were our best players.

Markov was horrible.

Most of the guys weren't skating tonight. They were sliding.

I don't see how Boston can lose the 7th game now.

Our PP is ....well there is no word to describe it. We concede more chances than we get.

Bruins deserved the game and deserve the series.
Congrats to them. They play better and they work harder.

Three words:

Bruins in seven.

They simply have been the better team for a while now. They're tenacious, their game plan is excellently executed, and they show more aggressiveness. And they've now scored 5 goals in two games straight.

We must remember that the Habs are really one year away at least, and it appears that their first seed may have indeed been due to circumstances. They are good, no doubt, but maybe now conference finals good yet.

I just hope that if they lose game seven, the crowd will give them a standing O. They deserve it no matter what.

Still, there's reason to hope elimination is not a foregone conclusion. The Habs are at home -- although considering how moronic the crowd is there, that's more a disadvantadge. Koivu has been awesome. Plekanec and Higgins are off the schneid. A thighter defensive scheme -- despite the very tired Hab defenders -- might lead to a victory.

But honestly... I've been expecting the Habs to lose the series ever since they lost game five. Outworked, outplayed, and just plain outdone in the ugly, ugly kind of hockey that is played in the playoffs.

They need big guys who can forecheck and score ugly and it's a crying shame, IMHO, that playoff hockey is so much less entertaining than regular season hockey...

Your telling me Kovalev doesn't turn the puck over lots?. I see this guy turn it over 4-5 times a game.

I'm disapointed for sure, the fact that this series is now a one game series just makes me so angry. I just hope we will show more energy next game, more will to win, more kiler instinct.

I think the main reason why we're in a such terrible position is our PP.We're winning games by one goal and when we have our PP not scoring those important goals to take a bigger lead,we blow the games. Then we go into the third period with a one goal lead, try to play defensive hockey, but we just suck a protecting leads.

I'm a believer, but I know deep inside that this serie is over since game 5.

What the hell was Brisebois doing on Kessel's second goal?!?!?! Some might blame the captain but 71 stopped skating along the blue line for no apparent reason and left Koivu hang out to dry.

Streit can't play next game, so soft out there, the hell with our PP, he doesn't even make good decisions anyway.

My worry coming into these series was Kovalev playing an individual game. Fun to watch, but easy to defend. He KILLS his linemates' momentum. My friends hate me for saying this as they are big Kovy fans and I like em too, but Dany Dubι has been talking about it for the past 3-4 days. He hangs onto the puck for way too long.

Dandenault brings nothing, Latendresse should have been playing.

Given all that, I STILL BELIEVE!!!

It's hard to take control of a puck when 2 players hold you against the boards, and when he tries move the puck out, no one in our team supports the play. We're hungry, but the bruins are eating the cake.

I was a fan of Kovy until this series. He's always been great in the playoffs and I thought he would rebound this season after his atrocious last season. But we freaking need him now and he's missing in action. Trade him, fck you Kovy.

We were basically running 2 lines tonight. Pleks's and Lapierre's were invisible. I don't even get what our 3rd line is for. Dandy, Lapierre and Streit are just useless. Might as well put Grabs, Lats and Ryder and hope for some offense.
This game was just weak...

It's a shame that Kovalev also seems to have lost faith after we went up 3-1 in the series.

Losing this series = worst collapse in Habs playoff history, if not the history of the franchise including regular season. There's absolutely no way they get one if it happens.

Pathetic on so many levels.Losing again to the Bruins(but I gotta give them credit, they had more desire to compete and heart, they have the momentum in this series.)

Dealing with the gleeful reactions regarding the Bruins victory or the Habs losing-as the haters are coming off the woodwork

Crapping my celebrations with friends afterwards on Saturday,if the Habs take Game 7,I'll be celebrating-but doing it on Monday is completely different.

Habs getting outplayed and outworked again..and not getting the job done!Where's the killer instincts and playoff intangibles?

The first line was invisible again and wasn't a factor all series....
Markov not performing as expected and underachieving...
Kosty bros....where are you?
Streit has been not effective.
Third line looked lost and ineffective
PP still not clicking and has been absolutely neutralized

Koivu has been excellent, showing heart and dedication-2 assists and was a monster on faceoffs
Higgins has been clutch,2 goals netted.
HM to Smoke,Bιgin,Kostopoulos,Price,Hamrlik,and Gorges.

Bruins are dominating the physical and defensive aspect...they've nullified the Montreal's transition and breakout game, who was a major forte all season long.

I'm really depressed and worried.....Carbo has been outcoached since Game 1.His gameplan is not excellently executed, and he didn't make the adjustements needed.

It's not even the trap. Trap would be decent. They concede the blue line so easily it's not even funny. When they take they simply stop skating. They slide and watch the Bruins. Pathetic.

All game long Montreal had trouble getting the puck out of their zone because of their little flutter passes. This team doesn't seem to have any confidence anymore or they're scared. If players are giving up and scared to sacrifice their bodies then they should be replaced. Bring in Stewart at least he'll drive and be all over the Bruin players and may just chip in a goal. Luckily over the past two years Timmins has been drafting North American players. The Euros seem to soft for the playoffs except Koivu, he plays his heart out.
