Take THAT Burke and Bushman! ...our Fed Nightmare has ended

The Ducks quack up in the first round against the Stars.
Frank the 1.65 mil Bushman had ZERO pts and finishes -9 for the year.
Jan "the 1 mil man" Hejda finishes +20.
Jackets Cap going into the off season: 28 Million
Ducks Cap Hit 51 Million

In your face Burke.

Stat for Fed Haters:

$10.8 million dollar for FHOF Fed'ss 123 games: 27 Goals 43 Assists for Jackets.
$7 million dollars for Modin's 102 games: 28 Goals 26 Assists for Jackets.

If Howson has to spend another $23 million for us to win a Cup and then make the playoffs the following season, I'm okay with that.

With any luck, XGMDM will be GMing somewhere so Howson can fleece him in a trade.

P.S. I know what some of you are thinking and GMSH is no Jay Feaster.

Wow JF... I guess you won't be inviting Burke over for any Stanley Cup watching parties.

FWIW.. Burke's biggest mistake was signing Bertuzzi.

Oh yeah, and....in before the merge!

Am I missing something or did Jackets do better than the Ducks this season or looking at now, you believe Jackets will finish higher than the Ducks next season?
