Scratch that...

JUST PLAY HOCKEY WITH INTENSITY!

IMO, just winning isn't enough if we want to go anywhere in these playoffs.

NO JUST WIN.....

We get the win.... We worry about next round when we get there....

For now, I don't care how you do it as long as at the end of the game the habs have more goals than the bruins.

Hate to burst your bubble, but we ain't winning if we don't play intense hockey. So my comment is kind of a pre-requisite for yours...

No. Just win. Squeak it out, get a lucky break, Thomas&Auld&Fernandez&Rask all break a leg playing soccer, or something. At this point I just don't care anymore. Win.

first post said it all. If Montreal wins this one they can put this terrible series behind them. The alternative is much worse.

I agree.... playing intense and forechecking is a much greater chance that we will win....

But that said.... I'd rather us play like garbage and Win.... then play great and lose.

There is no substitute for the W right now... NO MORAL VICTORY will be good enought.

AAAH!!!

I hope our guys are ready to pay the price! I am sure they will come out with fire under their butt. I don't care about whatever momentum existed, because once our team, the habs, will lay a skate on the Bell center's ice, I am sure the crowd will be with them.

This home game is huge for us. Boston has to come into one of the most hostile rink of the NHL, to win the most important game of series. We have an advantage there. We have Koivu, Kovalev, who would never forgive themselves if they didn't do what they have to, win...

Tonight we will, I am sure, witness a eventful night, that whatever the outcome, is sure to be entertaining.

Let's go Habs! You guys ain't really soft... Just harden a bit for 60 minutes of play

Hells no! But short of pulling a Lee Harvey Oswald or something it's out of our hands now and really too close for comfort!

P.S. Ouch! to Bruinmania...

Well, I do, but I'm sure I'm in the minority on this board .

This is going to be one hell of a game. 15 hours from now we're going to see what these teams are really made of, and it's damned exciting.

Most anticipation I've had for a game in a long time, maybe ever. Either way, it's been by far the best 1st round series and has reignited the best rivalry in the NHL.

Beaker, how long would you or RM have to keep the new name? Permanently, or a matter of months?

True dat! And for better or worse, this series has certainly rekindled the fire that threatened to die after such a lop-sided season series.

According to the bet, only until the other team is eliminated from the playoffs..... or one week after they hoist the cup... whichever happens.

However this has never been done before...... I'm not sure if my supermod powers will be able to lift it after that point or if i will have to wait the 1 year waiting period to change my name again... but the avatar and sig would definetely be gone.

no, I meant when the terms expire if you can't change your name back. I'm not suggesting you back out.

I don't think the admins would like a mod re-registering to get around the no name change for X months rule.

I'd have to return without beng a mod, if they even allowed it at all.

Haha..well said.

Come on Habs you gotta win tonight. Think of the city, think of the fans and please think how much it would pain us all to have one of our Mods (Beakermania) representing us with some gawd awful new nickname.

Also one of our prominant posters and the gate keeper of the Habs board. (Lord Chezz) has his nickname on the line.
