Lexus, but given yor budget why not Mercedes??

Edit: I have driven all those cars as my Father is a car dealer. From this list, Lexus and BMW are my fav. BMW especially if you want performance and handeling. But if yor after ride quality, i say go for a Mercedes.

I've heard about fantasy hockey and such, but this is the first time I come upon "fantasy car buying".

Let me translate the original post with my handy "Reality translator 2000":

Quote:
which would you recommend?

Hyundai Accent 11K $

Used Toyota Tercel 4K $

My mom's minivan 100 $

Keep riding my BMX - free$

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help

There, that sounds a little more realistic!

Why are you on our board all the time? Seriously, what's the point of you?

Get an Hybrid, it would not surprise me if Gas price were like 2,25$/liter at this time next year.

Camry Hybrid full equip for 35k. Sure it's not a ***** magnet or a sporty drive like the others but it's the smart move.

see if you can find a 1988 Plymouth Reliant K. I had one in college... they're really nice.

Ahhh I wish I had that much money to spend on a car.

(Not that I don't like my Volks Rabbit though)

Infiniti G35 is the best choice on that list. If you can afford it, spring for an M3. It'll be worth it.

With the global warming, I wqould definately go with an hybrid. Toyota and Honda have great ones too.
But if you definately want a sports car, I would go with a WRX STi, I conviced my mom to buy that car (for her) when I was 16 and I never regretted it

Seriously this car kills all the new cars you will get for under 50 000 dollars and is 4 wheel drive, which is also great. Its not too luxurious but its built like a tank.

If you buy it and you have the money for the gaz (and dont care about global warming) this is the way to go!

But again, I wouldnt recommend to my mom to buy that car again with what I know about global warming...

did you guys see that commercial for the new Ford Escape?

Beautiful backdrop...mountains...forest...quiet lake...morning sun etc...

and then...BAM! A big ugly ****ing truck right in the middle of it.

a truck that consumes more gas in a day then the sun and pollutes more then Chernobyl...

oh the irony of their statement....
