if not then acquiring Ryan smith doesn't help us, he's two years away from free agency which means we would get half a season out by trading blue chipper prospects, I know Ryan smith makes us better but he's not performing well in Edmenton now, and at over $3 M contract could backlass if he turns into another chow, don't forget chow scored 35 goals the years we acquired him, and then failed miserably in Montreal, BG should be very carefull us taking on big contract is something we should stay away from, especially when it will probably cost us future.

Good point...I don't think there will be any hockey next year. So perhaps not making any moves would be the best idea. But if any moves are made, perhaps just make them for draft picks.

Considering we are already stacked so much, trading anything after second round doesn't mean much, and add San Jose third rounder we got last year from hackett trade, and BG gets some flexibility!!

sence, and when Bg said he wasn't trading much I feel he meant it, so we are stacked in prospect that doesn't mean we should trade them away, but there will be some team looking for pick i'm sure for a third line centre men we could use!!

the stacks are high and it could turn into another Rechi deal we made with flyer, and his $3.5 M contract doesn't help either, atleast Recchi stayed with us, and eventually got us Zubrus, but Ryan smith is only lockout away from, free agency .
