Congratulations, Montreal

Congratulations, Canadiens fans.

Your team deserved it. They stepped it up to a level that we couldn't handle.

Good luck the rest of the way.

seconded.

Habs certainly showed in this series that they aren't so soft.

Here's to doing it again next year.

Said it in the GDT, but it warrants saying it here again. You guys skated circles around us in game 7. It's all about talent at that point, and you guys had it and wanted it more than we could ever hope to muster. Can't wait to see where this rivalry goes next - good luck in Round 2

Gator Mike, cneely: thanks for the kind words. You guys gave us the best opposition there could be and you nearly won it all when you were not even slated as being in the playoffs!

Kudos to the Bruins and their fans!!

Yeap. Congratulations. I thought I might have been all upset, but strangely I am not. It was a great, rollercoaster series.

Canadiens were the better team this year. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks to all the kind words from Bruins fans. After all the crap that was said between the two boards, you guys are showing how classy your fans are. You have a fantastic future with all your great young players, and who knows how this series would have finished had both of our team had their whole rosters.

Cheers to the Bruins and their fans for a fantastic series!!

See you next year for another one!!

Hey, we may have gotten the best of you in Games 1 and 7, but the ones in between was all you. Luckily we had a brick wall in nets for the most part.

Your team made me laugh (mostly during the season), made me cry, and made me crap bricks. That takes some talent

The Best I can Say

as I've said - I'll tip my hat to Price - one heck of a young tender, I'll give kudos to Komi, but how many excuses are there for him not fighting? that's just my opinion there. game 1 and 7 your team outplayed the Bruins. you scored more goals.

It was a darn good series, but pardon me for not wishing you team well in the next round.

But it was a good Series and I look forward to the B's and Habs playing each other in the preceding seasons and playoffs.

Best,

TK

This thread proves that many Bruins fans are classy. I have no doubt these two teams will meet again next year. They always meet in the playoffs and this series was the best one of the playoffs so far.

Hey, classy display by all you Bruins fans visiting. Unbelievable series, unbelievable pressure -- we're supposed to be on family holiday in the Virgin Islands, and our ears were pressed to Internet radio. On to round two; hats off to the Bruins. Hector never beats Achilles, but he tries. Of course, if he ever did, Achilles would be miserable...

Spend as much time you can on St. John, it's the most beautiful of the US Virgin Islands - St. Thomas is very 'Americanized' and there is a lofty amount of crime on St. Croix.

Big job by the Bruins this series, and all season, especially without Bergeron...
