This is honestly the first time i can honestly congratulate a team the habs just beat in the playoffs just because of the shear hard work...

You wont see me congratulate Either the Rangers or Philly though

I hate you guys, and I mean that in the best way possible. Its the good kind of hate that means this rivalry is thriving.

Price is...phenomenal, I'm looking forward to seeing the hopefully epic Rask-Price duels in the years to come when the Bruins and Canadiens are fighting for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The future is bright for both of these teams.

Bruins fans have nothing to be ashamed about. I knew full well that you'd give us all we could handle, and you guys did just that. All this 0-7-1 talk was meaningless, as the playoffs are a whole different animal. I was honestly a little scared when I found out we were playing Boston in the first round, envisioning a reversal of 2004.

Hold your heads high, Bruins fans. It pains me to say it, but you guys have a bright future ahead. A lot of your young guys impressed me. Kessel and Lucic, obviously, but even the likes of Nokeleinen and Krejci. I'm a big Thomas hater as you'll find, but even he managed to impress me. When he's on his game, he really is on his game. Gotta love his attitude too...even after a long seven game series where he is on the losing side, he can still laugh nbd crack a smile during the handshakes. Color me impressed.

Another thing...I thought this series would be a violent one. I thought we'd see numerous cheapshots from either side, but that wasn't the case. Hard-hitting, it surely was, but I'm glad we got very little of the cheap stuff.

One thing's for sure, our season series next year should be a fantastic one.

Again, thanks for the great series, Boston.

It was an exciting series, thats for sure.

However, Big Dog Dan? You can stick it. I caught you hoping for a Bruin to injure a Hab. Don't claim its heat of the moment. You've been a thick headed poster for quite a while. Stop watching hockey, KTHANX.

The fact you guys we're able to bring this to a 7th game is a true testament to the will your team displayed, no one anywhere would have predicted this series to last this long.. She was a rough one, a tough one.. But hats off to you guys for making it interesting and being classy (most of you).

Congrats to Montreal. Great Series. Very exciting, good, clean hockey. Lots of heart and talent on display on both sides. See you next year.

it's funny because it's exactly like the players at the end of the game, shaking hands.

only ones complaining are Sens fans it seems.

Congrats to habs fans (damn that's hard to say ). It was an exciting series, with 2 somewhat different teams battling down to the wire. But you guys managed to elevate your game and get us off of ours in game 7. I'm proud of the way the Bruins played down the stretch and into the playoffs.

Good luck in round 2. Next season should be even more competitive between our two teams. Looking forward to it.

Thanks. The Bruins gave the Habs all they could handle and more through games 2 to 6. Amazing display of courage and hard work, maybe our young guys got an education in what it takes.

I apologize for all the boorish fans here on the board and in your City that seemed to think the series was ours by divine right. Those same guys you saw jumping off the bandwagon after game 6 but are back now for more.

Lucic is great, I wish I could have seen the handshake with Komi.

I've said it many times before....but I'm gonna say it again....

Any year the Habs and Bruins meet in the playoffs.....its always....by far the best series to watch out of them all!!!! The other series' just don't provide such "edge of your seat" hockey.

Its always fast paced, good hard hitting, non-stop action. Saturday nights game was one of the best playoffs games I have even watched....dispite the Habs losing.

Congrats to the Bruins and their fans for a hard fought series. You proved a lot of hockey critics wrong.

Boston played great for 5 of these 7 games, Montreal played great 3 of the 7 games. That alone should tell you it could be the other way around.

Claude Julien is a Genius, and I wish I had Lucic on my team. You guys gave one hell of a fight, and quite honestly deserved better.

Still, GO HABS GO!!!! But let's not exaggerate the resurgence of the K's: scoring 3 and 5th goals: not that clutch...
