Rick Middleton is a historic name... so I think we should go with a historic name..

Something like:

Stephane Richer's Ex

or

Claude Lemieux Fan

or

Patrice Brisebois fan

I also think it would be very good. Historical, painful, but much more classy than the the Komisarek or Lucic ones.

And the avatar could be something like Don Cherry's face or Guy Lafleur celebrating a goal.

If we still want something player related, it should be also from that era, not this one.

Rick Middleton was a Bruins player in 1979. One of the guys from that Famous Game 7.

The Bruins and Habs were playing in the Stanley Cup Semi-Final Game 7.... The Rangers were waiting in the final. Don Cherry Bruins Coach in 79 is quoted as saying after the series that both teams knew this was the real cup final... the Rangers would be a cakewalk.

Anyways with the Bruins leading 4-3 and the habs running out of time... The Bruins were called for too many men. Cherry will not say who it was but Video evidence seems to indicate it was Stan Jonathan. Guy Lafleur scored arguably his most famous goal on a Slapshot down the RW boards and The Habs would win it in OT.

Don Cherry would be fired after the series.... Despite two cup final appearances, and 1 semi-final game 7 loss. All to the Habs.

As great a victory as it is for us.... its still a sore spot for most bruin fans.
