Rob Blake broke his leg! Do you think BG will offer Brisebois and or Rivet?

With Rob Blake breaking his leg (hairline fracture) Do you think BG will try and move a guy like Brisebois or Rivet. If so what kind of return do you think Montreal would get back?

Honestly, I don't think BG is in any rush to trade Brisebois, and would like to keep him around for the playoffs, unless the Av's make an offer that BG can't refuse.

As for Rivet, I would imagine the Av's would be looking for a better dman than that, but if they did have interest in Rivet, I don't assume we would get a ton back in return.

If this was last year, i would have moved breezy, but not this year. Both him and Rivet will be needed come playoff time. So my answer is dont trade them, besides rivets game is starting to improve lately.

Peace!

Interesting to note that former Hab Brett Clark has been called up to replace Blake.

I wouldn't touch the D. If anything, I'd be looking for more. Why give up our best puck-moving defenseman when that is one of our weakest areas? It makes no sense. Are you really prepared to have Hainsey replace Brisebois down the stretch and in the playoffs? That's the kind of move a non-playoff team would make. Think bigger.

Perhaps a water-cooler, to take the place of his step-ladder in the locker room? Because, we certainly wouldn't be getting a hockey player in return.

I wouldn't mind loosing Bouillon if they send Traverse with him and get a couple of new pucks instead.

Why exactly would Colorado want to pick up an expensive long term contract like Breezy or Rivet for a short term band aid?
