Black Aces - What Are They Doing....

Does anyone know are the guys brought up by Montreal actually practicing with the team or do they practice on thier own? Is Steweart staying with team the night before games also and practicing with Habs or the dogs,? Do they get to go on the road games also? Just curious as to how this works.

They travel with the team. I know they practice, too, but I don't know if they're practicing at the same time.

They are probably hanging out together and keeping in shape, just in case. I would assume that they don't practice with the team for regular practices (that'd be like 28 bodies on the ice, way too much standing around), but I'm sure they are there for optional workouts. I haven't noticed any of them (except for Stewart) in the pressbox during the games, but I'm sure they're around.

According to Stewart's Mom, they're just practicing and working out. Sometimes with the team, sometimes separately, but their practices are always longer to keep in game shape.

Stewart is with the team in practice today according to Martin McGuire of CKAC. He's not part of the black aces.

I noticed Stewart still has his own stall in the room. Right next to Kovalev or Koivu, can't remember which.

You gotta feel for Chipchura. Plays 35 games or so and gets sent down. They call Stewart up at the end of the year, he plays one good game and he's travelling and practicing with the team during the playoffs while chips is a Black ace.

From what i hear Chipchura is still struggling with that shoulder injury. He insisted on playing the last three games with the Dogs and may be should of waited for it to heal a 100%. I agree I feel for him also its almost like the Habs have a plan for him this summer in a trade which i think would be the best for him as I really don't think he will ever be given a fair shake staying in Montreal.
