Nice...but who else plays for the team? Is it going to rest on Huet's shoulders all the way?

Yeah if you read up on post-game coverage, it was not as much about the Caps losing or that suspect call by the refs but more about how signing Huet has to be a priority for the team. I'm sure the Caps feel the same way...

Cause he's gonna get lit up, thus potentially damaging his image as a very good NHL goaltender.

oh... I think the final stretch and playoffs with the caps alone will give him a pretty nice contract. Beside if he's playing well in the tourney, he could potentially increase his value.
...and if he doesn't, he can always blame the weak France team.

I don't think the concern is him getting lit up (no GM is going to really care if he can't pull off any miracle's with France), but the risk of getting any major injury.

Those are two good soccer teams, it should be a great game.

Huet is unlikely to be injured and he'll probably be signed fro $5M per for the way he helped the Caps reach the Southeast division lead (it wasn't all Ovechkin, although he sure helped). Kolzig is 38 and passé.

I doubt losing with the team he will have in front of him be considered choking.

I'm pretty sure Huet is getting a contract from Washington. Kolzig is pretty much done...
