Morganti strikes again

If anyone saw facing off this morning, they talked about the trade for Burke (and Mortangi and Jones never said the names 'Branko Radivojevic' or 'Ben Eager'). A classic quote for Morganti:

"They made this ridiculous decision in the offseason to go with Jeff Hackett."

Now I'm not trying to start a Cechmanek vs. Hackett thread, but how many times in the past year and a half was Morganti screaming to dump Cechmanek and bring in Hackett because he was the better goaltender? He was all over CSN, he was all over ESPN saying "The Flyers should get whatever they can for Cechmanek and bring in Jeff Hackett."

How do people expect to take Morganti seriously?

I don't.

On a side note, if Branko does do well, I don't think people will be get his jersey, his name is too damn long.

I would. I like Radivojevic as a player, and always have. He always played well against the Flyers. And I can spell his name right

It's not the spelling, it's the money! Most places pay by letter!

I remember getting my prized Borschevsky jersey in 1992 and my parents wishing I had been a Bill Berg fan instead.

They filmed that yesterday afternoon. It first aired on the 6:30 Sportsnight last evening. The trade had not been made as of yet, therefore no mention of Branko (he needs a nickname fast) or Eager

Nah man, www.coolhockey.com.

I ordered 2 jerseys from them, 121 bucks + 12 bucks shipping for each. They don't charge by the letter, and the quality is excellent.

www.jerseycity.ca does like wise.

I think the Flyers will give him a nick name of either 'Rado' or 'Rady'.

I think calling him "Bronco" is cool enough.

And here I thought my Valeri Zelepukin jersey was expensive.

Branko is in a way his nickname. His real name is Branislav. Branko is the Slovak nickname for it. For example, Rastislav would be Rasto. Michael/Michal would be Mishko (sp?), but sounding is correct. My Slovak isn't as good as my dad, but I can wing it. Juraj (George) would be Jurko.

jersey

I got Viacheslav Butsayev's name on my Jeresy one year. He took Tocchet's number 22 and it was easier to replace the name then the number.
