Normally I would be worried about Prucha's defense getting exposed. But since he's playing on the 4th line, with limited ice time, I think its a good move, and he has a chance to work some magic. Just hope he doesn't get epically outmuscled by Laraque.

He didnt skate with the 4th line in practice...Shanny skated with Betts/Shoey. Prucha skated with Avery/Gomer

Don't know if that will hold up for game time

Right...the game has not started...it's a 2:00PM game.
So the NYR site has Fridays game. The Pittsburgh site has pre-game show with interviews and analysis.
Why is it that the most major team in the most major market in the NHL treats the fans as second rate.
I know it's a small thing...pre-game radio on the internet... but it's something.

LET"S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!

It's been well covered here, but the Rangers better get off their collective ***** and win Game 2! There was completely ZERO excuse for blowing that 3-0 lead two nights ago! Very reminiscent of the February 19th disaster in Montreal. And if they don't play 60 minutes of fundamental hockey (and STAY OUT OF THE DAMN PENALTY BOX and GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS!), then this series will be short. Get the job done NOW!

Well, in that case I guess he'll have more zip than Shanny, i'm just hoping that this move wont fail defensively like Renny's desperation move putting in Dawes against Buffalo last year (i.e the player being too small and getting exposed).

NBC has poker going on. I don't get this poker thing. What's it all about? I equate it with wrestling and roller derby. And only slightly as interesting as bowling and golf.

I think you summed it all up right here. It's down to the basics.

If NYR had Crosby his picture would be all over town...probably with him in his Calvin Klein undies.

Their seasons are over, so they're up just so they can experience things.
